😀 🚀 Good news! CrowdScan secures new funding of just under 1 million euros. In addition to extra personal contributions from the co-founders, we receive an injection of 500,000 euros. The fresh capital comes from imec.istart and new external shareholders, such as Yves De Laere, and the investment fund Euphoria represented by Alex Moreels. They strengthen the existing team of investors, which includes Qbic Fund | Venture Capital and Wim Bijnens Over the past year, we have invested heavily in making our technology more plug-and-play. Our various international projects and the rising demand from the Netherlands and Flanders clearly demonstrate a growing global need for reliable, privacy-friendly crowd data. In the last 15 years of pitching and scaling multiple companies, I’ve probably received 1,000 NOs from investors. That’s right—1,000 times people passed on an opportunity. And guess what? That’s totally normal. The truth is, it’s all a numbers game. You have to stay resilient, continuously refining your pitch, improving your work, and knocking on more doors. Today, I’m pitching Telgea, Local Mobile Plans for Global Teams, at the Stockholm School of Economics incubator. We provide mobile plans in the countries where you do business, helping international companies simplify connectivity for their teams. Most people share their success after a "YES," but I think it’s time we start talking about the "NOs." Even after being part of three successful exits, I know the "NOs" are part of the process. The "NOs" teach you something. They force you to fine-tune your approach, rethink your product, and sharpen your strategy. All while you’re still building, executing, and growing your company. So if you're out there getting more rejections than approvals, remember: You're not alone. Keep pushing, keep improving, and keep going.
