📢 November Highlights: EU Digital Product Passport updates and adoption 1️⃣ APT-GB Adopts Digital Product Passports UK manufacturer APT-GB now includes Digital Product Passports (DPPs) with all their audio-visual equipment via the TAZAAR asset management platform boosting their aftersales and circular economy operations. As an early adopter, APT-GB has already influenced product direction with GeoTag and 360 video GIFs of their products in the passport. 2️⃣ EU DPP Seen as a Business Opportunity Elliot Clarke of PTC emphasises that the upcoming EU Digital Product Passport is a unique opportunity for businesses to enhance sustainability and prepare for a data-driven future. This is further consolidated with industry early adopters able to shape the parameters of DPPs beyond sole compliance. 3️⃣ EU Seeks Industry Feedback The EU is calling for industry input on DPP infrastructure ahead of mandatory implementation starting in 2027 for sectors like batteries and textiles. The deadline to apply is 11th Dec.
