Digital Product Passports (DPP) will make environmental impact so very easy to assess and compare that it may well become a common dimension of competition. If price is similar, as quality and availability, then environmental impact may well be what tips the scale to the advantage of your product, or to your competitor's. Batteries is one of the first industries for which DPP will become mandatory from the end of 2027 for products sold in the EU. 🟢 Are you, as a producer or reseller, prepared to provide the extensive information demanded? 🟢 And how will your products fare? Will you be the one chosen by consumers because of your superior performance on environmental impact? ---------------------------- digitalproductpassport .com – Join the place to learn, share and discuss the coming EU digital product passports. #DigitalProductPassports #ESPR 𝘐𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘊𝘊-𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘉𝘠-𝘚𝘈 3.0 𝘋𝘌𝘌𝘋 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘴 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘴. A great example of how Digital Product Passport (DPP) can close the gap between the transparency demanded by consumers, investors, and other stakeholders and the current lack of information on products value chain. In 2024, the EU will implement new legislation requiring products sold in the union to have a digital product passport (DPP) starting with textiles and EV battery
Avery Dennison is collaborating with Aquinos Bedding to introduce Digital Product Passports (DPPs) for mattresses. With 30 million mattresses discarded annually in Europe, #DPPs enhance transparency and eco-design. Consumers can scan a QR code to learn more about the mattress. This aligns with EU sustainability goals, marking a leap toward responsible product lifecycle management. Join us in reshaping the future, one scan at a time. https://avydn.co/4al10qf

🌐 The Future of Manufacturing: Embracing Digital Product Passports 🌐 The EU has set the stage for a manufacturing revolution: from 2026, key industries will be required to adopt Digital Product Passports (DPPs). But what does that mean for consumers and businesses? 🛠️ A DPP gives each product a unique digital identity, accessible via a QR code or NFC tag, offering transparency from origin to final production. 🌍 This system supports EU sustainability goals and builds consumer trust by validating product origins and environmental impact. With DPPs, manufacturers can streamline compliance, improve quality control, and reduce paper-based documentation. For consumers, it means enhanced product authenticity and easier choices for eco-friendly purchases. 🌱📲 As supply chains evolve, DPPs stand to redefine trust and sustainability in the manufacturing world. What are Digital Product Passports (DPPs)? Digital Product Passports are digital records that contain detailed information about a product’s lifecycle, from its origins to disposal. They enhance transparency, improve traceability, and ensure regulatory compliance, ultimately leading to better product management and sustainability. Why are DPPs important? • Transparency: Provides a clear view of the product’s lifecycle and its environmental impact. • Traceability: Ensures all components and processes are tracked, aiding in quality control and regulatory compliance. • Sustainability: Promotes sustainable practices by detailing material sources and environmental impacts. Join us at our upcoming event to learn more about DPPs and how they can revolutionize your business processes.
