The recently released 2024 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Indicator report paints a promising picture for #Morocco's progress in industry, #innovation, and infrastructure. Compiled by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network and the Bertelsmann Foundation, and released last week, the report identifies Morocco as a frontrunner in Africa when it comes to achieving SDG 9.

Setting sustainability targets is already a significant step toward achieving a greener future. However, the challenge of achieving and sustaining those targets remains. In an interview with Economy Middle East, Samer Bohsali, Middle East head of our social and public sector practice, identifies key hurdles organizations face in their quest for #sustainability, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa region. If you cannot measure it, you cannot manage it! Since 2019, the Global Green Growth Institute introduced the #GreenGrowthIndex, a tool that helps our Member and Partner States to measure their performance in achieving sustainability goals that support nature-based solutions and enhanced adaptation capacities. Its framework emphasizes four dimensions linked to #GreenGrowth, including efficient and sustainable resource use, natural capital protection, green economic opportunities, and social inclusion. The #GreenGrowthIndex is developed in partnership with several international, government, and academic institutions as well as international experts from various fields relevant to the four green growth dimensions. With the Green Growth Index, GGGI is contributing to the growing collaboration among policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders in finding a common framework and policy-relevant indicators to measure green growth performance. Through such collaborative efforts, we aim to support countries to successfully manage their #GreenGrowth transitions. This alarming trend not only destroys the natural habitats of countless species but also contributes to climate change, soil erosion, and the disruption of vital water cycles. It's time we take action to protect and restore our precious forests and oceans and finally Earth before it's too late. NATO or other Organizations are also responsible for protecting our forests and oceans and all humanity with peace . They should respect to all thoughts without considering racism and finally developing to keep our planet Earth . We have no other place to live as alternative except Earth .
