2024 has been a transformative year for us at Tandem! We’ve taken a bold step toward supporting our team in more holistic ways by introducing full-day mental wellness workshops facilitated by one of the best clinical psychologists in the country, Dr. Tima Khamis. And we’re absolutely loving the results! As creatives, our work is deeply tied to our emotional and psychological state. That’s why it’s critical to empower teams not just with job-related skills and tools but also with psychological support. This year, we’ve prioritized normalizing mental wellness sessions for our team, creating safe spaces for reflection, growth, and balance. Yesterday, we wrapped up our final workshop for the year, and the impact has been incredible. Movember is an annual initiative that's aimed at promoting awareness of men's health issues. This Movember, we celebrate men's mental health by honoring their resilience in pursuing balance, unplugging, and prioritising self-care. 💙 Our operations are continuously working towards helping promote men’s health. At EM3, we want a Mental Health and Wellbeing Culture that enables all team members to gain the courage, confidence and skills to support each other in a very practical way because understanding how to appropriately experience feelings and emotions is something that we can learn by connecting with each other. Our goal is to create a culture of compassionate connection, where we look out for each other at all times. With this in mind, our engineers can avail of the benefits of I Am Here, our Mental Health and Wellbeing initiative that provides people with a simple and practical set of tools which help us look out for ourselves and our colleagues. EM3 also operate a Speak Up policy to allow the reporting of workplace related concerns. Speaking up is key, because when concerns are raised and communicated, issues can be resolved in a safe and respectful way.
