WWW alert (webinar worth watching) My key takeaways: 1) Cookies and creative 'tag days' aren't helping to create a culture of philanthropy. Instead, we need to focus on building trust with the students who engage with us. 2) We do a great job with broadcast communications but not so good with seeking input from our supporters - we can and should do better. 3) The point of an event is not an event. (MIC DROP) No truer words have ever been spoken which is why I always insist we start with the outcomes and reflect on the outcomes.

This month we are featuring The B+ Foundation at Alabama co-president Keeley Kimball. Keep reading to learn more about Keeley’s involvement and her dedication to the cause on The University of Alabama campus 🎗️ Q: What inspired you to get involved with UA B+? A: When I came to the University of Alabama I knew I wanted to be a part of something bigger that would give back to others and make a difference in the local Tuscaloosa community. Once I heard Joe McDonough speak during my freshmen year, I knew that The B+ Foundation was something I wanted to be more involved with. 🌟 Q: What is your best fundraising tip? A: My best fundraising tip would be to use the pre-written templates B+ provides but customize them to make them more personal when sending fundraising emails and texts. I have found that my donors like reading something more personalized. 🌟 Q: What is the greatest lesson you’ve learned from your involvement with B+? A: The greatest lesson I have learned is to always persevere. Not everything will go as planned, but the best way to move forward is to keep going and remember why we do what we do. 🌟 Q: What advice would you give to someone who wants to get more involved with B+? A: My best advice would be to put yourself out there and get involved because it will be one of the best decisions you will make during college. Having something to dedicate your time to that gives back is substantial during your college years.

Help us reach our goal of $76,000 to cover the multitude of costs of starting a new K-12 American Classical Public Charter School! ACSI is excited to announce our year-end opportunity for our mission partners to once again stand with us as we launch our next school together: Valor Classical Academy (VCA) in Kuna, Idaho. The expenses that ACSI carries for the pre-opening phase of VCA total $76,000. You are in good company because some incredibly generous mission partners have already donated $50,000! Please consider a gift of $5,000, $1,000, $100, $50 or even $10 to join us in this effort. Any amount you can contribute to us would be greatly appreciated! Your participation is necessary to make American classical education available to students in Kuna, South Meridian, and Southwest Boise. Thank you for your generosity! Your generous support for ACSI’s effort is vital to making this vision a reality. Right now, we face a funding gap to cover key startup costs which includes legal fees, office expenses, marketing, and Hillsdale College training for our staff. These essential expenses ensure VCA is ready to open its doors and begin providing the high-quality education our children deserve. By supporting VCA, you are helping to restore excellence in American public education. This is not just about opening a school in August 2026; it’s about investing in future leaders who will cherish and uphold the values that make our nation great. ACSI cannot do this without you! Every dollar counts and directly impacts our ability to launch this school and offer students an education rooted in the true, the good, and the beautiful. Help us raise $76,000 to open VCA! Thank you for your loyal partnership and generosity. Together, we are doing the important work of restoring public education, one ACSI school at a time. Checks can be mailed to ACSI at 500 SW 3rd Street, Fruitland, ID 83619. Please contact us if you’d like to give a gift of appreciated securities or from your Donor Advised Fund. Questions can be addressed to Ronda Baines, ACSI Development and Outreach Director at rbaines@acs-id.org or Sean Hunter, VCA school leader, shunter@acs-id.org, or Steve Lambert, CEO, slambert@acs-id.org.
