We see a growing interest in interfaces for robot sanding applications. I'm often asked the question: how many interfaces or hook (aka grip) does one uses before one has to change the support pad itself. Of course many parameters have to be taken into considerations (abrasive grit, surface sanded, pressure applied etc.....) but talking to production line managers (wood and metal) and a ratio 1 Dual Action pad for over 150 interfaces was the norm for them. #gekatexgroup #flexipads #sanding #interfaces
