#travelwithdog #flyingwithpets This Airline has finally gone to the Dogs! https://lnkd.in/gpZjdpTV Did you know you can also book your Pet to fly with you on the plane, but they limit the number of pets per cabin? Several airlines in the United States have pet-friendly policies. Here are some of the best airlines for traveling with pets: Delta Air Lines: Delta welcomes dogs, cats, and household birds on certain routes. They also allow rabbits to travel with you. Alaska Airlines: In addition to dogs and cats, Alaska Airlines permits rabbits to fly in the cabin. Frontier Airlines: Frontier offers one of the most extensive lists of animals allowed, including birds, rabbits, and several other pet types. Southwest Airlines: Southwest strictly allows small dogs and cats to travel with owners in-cabin. Spirit Airlines: Spirit also has a pet-friendly policy, but it’s essential to check their specific requirements. United Airlines: United transports pets, but some travelers suggest that their pet program could use improvement. Remember that while all these airlines allow small dogs and cats in the cabin, only a select few permit other household pets. Additionally, pricing and rules can vary, so it’s essential to choose an airline that suits your needs and your furry or feathery companion’s requirements. If you’re flying internationally, consider a different subset of pet-friendly airlines. Happy travels with your pet! 🐾✈️

In a clever promotion called FlyBabies, JetBlue rewarded passengers with free flights if four babies cried during the same flight! This unique campaign was launched in honor of Mother’s Day on April 15, during a flight from New York City’s JFK Airport to Long Beach, California. Each time a baby cried, passengers earned a 25% discount on future airfare. When four babies cried, everyone onboard received a free round trip! An interesting & enjoyable read! However, omitting any discussion regarding the initial design flaws of the de Havilland Comet that resulted in 3 fatal crashes within 1-year after introduction in 1952 - and the aircraft’s ultimate failure commercially even after the flaws were identified & corrected - is disappointing. #airlines #airlinesandairplanes #airlineindustry #airtravel #aviation #travel #history #avgeek #paxex #pilots #aerospace #aircraft #aerospaceindustry #aerospaceengineering

Have you ever wondered how the roster system operates in a private jet role? While there are certain trends that are more prevalent in specific regions, they all share the commonality of having concentrated duty days followed by several consecutive days off. During your duty period, you essentially remain on standby. You might not know where in the world you’ll be headed with a long notice, and if there are no scheduled flights, you simply stay with the jet at a nearby hotel, awaiting the next assignment. Relocating to another city is often unnecessary, as the company typically provides airline tickets to position you wherever the jet and crew are located globally. Learn more about the patterns of private jet rosters in our latest video! #privatejetcoach #viptravel #privatejet #flightattendantlife #corporateaviation https://lnkd.in/dgjdFc9q

Great success
Retired Executive Vice President, Chief Customer Officer / Chief Technology Officer at United Airlines
May was United Airlines’ tenth month in a row ranking among the best in on-time departures. 🎉 It was also our busiest May and busiest Memorial Day weekend on record, and the weather didn’t make it any easier for multiple of our hub airports. To put it in perspective, more than 30% of Chicago’s operational hours were impacted by weather over the holiday weekend, but only 3% of our flights were canceled. And that’s not all I’m proud of. We also saw our highest May NPS score post-pandemic — a testament to our resilient employees who take care of customers and each other.
