#travelwithdog #flyingwithpets This Airline has finally gone to the Dogs! https://lnkd.in/gpZjdpTV Did you know you can also book your Pet to fly with you on the plane, but they limit the number of pets per cabin? Several airlines in the United States have pet-friendly policies. Here are some of the best airlines for traveling with pets: Delta Air Lines: Delta welcomes dogs, cats, and household birds on certain routes. They also allow rabbits to travel with you. Alaska Airlines: In addition to dogs and cats, Alaska Airlines permits rabbits to fly in the cabin. Frontier Airlines: Frontier offers one of the most extensive lists of animals allowed, including birds, rabbits, and several other pet types. Southwest Airlines: Southwest strictly allows small dogs and cats to travel with owners in-cabin. Spirit Airlines: Spirit also has a pet-friendly policy, but it’s essential to check their specific requirements. United Airlines: United transports pets, but some travelers suggest that their pet program could use improvement. Remember that while all these airlines allow small dogs and cats in the cabin, only a select few permit other household pets. Additionally, pricing and rules can vary, so it’s essential to choose an airline that suits your needs and your furry or feathery companion’s requirements. If you’re flying internationally, consider a different subset of pet-friendly airlines. Happy travels with your pet! 🐾✈️

💺 🛩 American Airlines Updates Pet Policy for Cabin Travel American Airlines has revised its policy regarding pets in the cabin. Owners can now bring their animal companion and either a full-size carry-on bag or a personal item, but not both. 🐾 Key Takeaways: 🐶 Previously, passengers bringing pets had to choose between a pet and a small item that fit under the seat; larger carry-on bags had to be checked or placed in the cargo hold. 🎒 The new policy aims to address unfairness among pet owners who were already paying a pet fee but had restrictions on other carry-on items. 🚫 This change is expected to discourage passengers from falsely claiming their pet as a service animal to avoid carry-on fees. ✈️ Traveling with pets still requires thorough planning due to various factors, such as the maximum number of pets allowed per cabin, which varies by aircraft type and airline. 🐕 Other U.S. airlines that allow pets in the cabin include Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and Frontier Airlines. Pet carriers typically count as carry-ons. 🌍 Travelers should review airline pet policies, country-based restrictions, and guidelines for ensuring pet safety and comfort during flights, available from organizations like the American Veterinary Medical Association. #airlinenews #airlines #pets #traveler #travelguide #traveltips #travelnews

Many airlines have a unique rule for pilots: they eat different meals! 🍽️ This precaution minimizes the risk of both pilots being affected by food poisoning, keeping someone at the controls. Cabin crew meals follow a similar principle. While some airlines provide options from different cabin classes, most usually offer straightforward meals prepared specifically for the crew to keep energy levels high during long flights. These steps keep everything running smoothly at 30,000 feet! #travelfacts #travellife #aviationfacts #traveltrivia #flightcrew #planecrew #didyouknow #asaptickets

In a clever promotion called FlyBabies, JetBlue rewarded passengers with free flights if four babies cried during the same flight! This unique campaign was launched in honor of Mother’s Day on April 15, during a flight from New York City’s JFK Airport to Long Beach, California. "Proper window shade etiquette has been a topic of debate among airline passengers, with one recent incident causing a stir. A traveler's request to keep the window shade closed for the duration of the flight has sparked discussion on whether passengers have the right to control the window. As professionals, let's remember to be considerate and communicate with our fellow passengers before adjusting the window shade. #WindowShadeEtiquette #FriendlyFlying #AirlineEtiquette.
