Corporate catfishing? More companies are posting realistic job listings that don’t exist. Companies doing this are trying to trick employees into thinking the company is growing and that they are hiring more workers to alleviate their workload. This is not only manipulative, but immoral.

Let's talk about recruiter arrogance. I know. I know. Sensitive topic. I probably have a touch of it..... I see a lot of it these days. Recruiters venting CONSTANTLY on this platform. I was arguably guilty of it myself a little yesterday. Complaining about ghosting. Complaining about firms not responding quickly enough. Complaining about people turning down roles. Complaining about buy back situations. Believing you know best for another human being, with their own autonomy. Now don't get me wrong, I find all of these just as infuriating as you. And sometimes, you'll actually be right. But you have no divine right to that placement. And if you controlled all the controllables, then maybe you wouldn't be raging quite so much. If you aren't writing your post with ANY nod to why these things make the recruitment process harder, then you're just adding to the whine noise that is often social media. Knock it off. #legalrecruitment #recruitment #lawjobs #legalcareers

STOP GHOSTING CANDIDATES! I see at least 30 posts a day where candidates are venting about being ghosted. And rightfully so—it's absolute B.S. The fact that this is STILL happening is maddening. FOLLOW-UP IS A FUNDAMENTAL PART OF A RECRUITER'S JOB. Before you tell me it's a two-way street, I encourage you to stop and reflect. We set the tone, we set the precedent, and we set their expectations. IMHO, it's recruiters who made the conscious decision to not communicate, to not send a follow-up email, make a call, shoot a text, or even send an auto-responder from the ATS. Can we honestly blame candidates for doing the exact thing they have been conditioned to do? If you're in recruiting and scrolling past or ignoring candidates who are speaking out, listen up and level-up. Technology has advanced to make communication a breeze. The phone is your friend, so use it. There is no excuse—it's our job. It's simple...FOLLOW-UP at every stage of the process! Rant over. Do better. #candidateexperience #recruiting
