The Secret to Breaking Free from Poverty Through Entrepreneurship – It’s NOT Just About Prayer Let’s address a hard truth: too many Evangelical Christian entrepreneurs hit walls in business, and it’s rarely due to a lack of prayer. Here’s what often happens: A new entrepreneur feels inspired, maybe even receives a word of encouragement. Driven by vision, they jump in, investing heavily before proving their concept. One founder I met lost over 250 million Rwandan Francs this way. The Real Issue? - Relying on prayer alone - Skipping essential business skills - Neglecting research that could save time and money - Ignoring proven growth methods - Going big before validating what works Of course, prayer is powerful. Proverbs 4:7 tells us, *“Get wisdom, get understanding.”* Faith doesn’t eliminate the need for wisdom; it calls us to use it. Faith isn’t the problem. Want proof? Just look at the resilience of: - Catholics, who’ve built lasting ventures for centuries - Jews, who’ve endured unimaginable trials yet lead in global business, staying true to their faith - Muslims, who’ve founded global empires while honoring their beliefs So, what does building wisely look like? 1. Start Small – Test before going big. Every great business began with a small, testable idea. 2. Learn Constantly – Seek wisdom actively. Research, take notes, and refine your approach. 3. Act with Purpose – Blend faith with smart strategy to build a lasting business. Imagine a community where Christian businesses thrive, breaking poverty cycles, uplifting others, and serving as true Kingdom resources. Ready to grow wisely? Join a community here 👉 https://lnkd.in/eV6GPBkT If you’re ready to learn, build, and make an impact that lasts! Sharing is caring – ♻️ Repost this to inspire more faith-driven entrepreneurs to build businesses that last!

Have you ever heard of Entrepreneurial Poverty? 🙋♀️ Sounds very dramatic doesn't it, but it affects most business owners without them even realising it and those that do realise it will never tell you about it 🤦♀️ There are 2 main types of entrepreneurial poverty that affect most business owners, at some point in their journey 🚌 Time 🕰️ Money 💴 Time poverty is a real challenge faced by many entrepreneurs, juggling multiple hats and endless to-do lists, while striving for success. 😓 From managing operations to nurturing client relationships 🧍🧍♀️and everything in between, finding enough hours in the day can feel like an uphill battle ⛰️ Let's face it we've all been here at some point right!? (Even if we don't broadcast it to our peers on Linkedin!) But here's the silver lining.. Recognising and addressing time poverty is the first step towards reclaiming control and achieving greater efficiency. 💪 Whether it's delegating tasks, automating processes, or implementing time management strategies, there are solutions to help small business owners maximise productivity and focus on what truly matters. But where do you start right? 🤷🏻♀️ There are so many solutions available that it's hard to know what will work for us and what is just another waste of our valuable time and money. 🤦♀️ Plus we already have no time to do everything, so who wants to add yet another thing to our to do list to investigate! But what if someone else knew exactly what you needed to do and were willing to share that with you to make your life so much easier! Wouldn't that be amazing 🤩 This is just one of the many, many tried and tested solutions that we'll be telling you about in the Business Wealth Academy ☺️ Tomorrow I'll talk about business owner wealth poverty and how that is easily solved too 😅 #entrepreneurialpoverty #smallbusinesssupport #businesswealthacademy

📢 New Book Release: Poverty, Disadvantage, and the Promise of Enterprise: A Capabilities Perspective Authors: Michael H. Morris and Susana C. Santos Can entrepreneurship serve as a pathway out of poverty? Are individuals living in poverty able to create ventures that significantly improve their economic situations? Poverty, Disadvantage, and the Promise of Enterprise: A Capabilities Perspective explores these pressing questions and offers nuanced insights. The authors argue that the answer is “It depends.” Using a lens of disadvantage theory and the capabilities framework, this book delves into poverty's complex, multi-dimensional nature and its implications for starting and growing a business. It identifies four key liabilities that affect the opportunities available, the types of ventures started, and their overall performance. These challenges often lead to what the authors call the "commodity trap," where ventures face low sales and marginal profits. However, these challenges can be overcome with the proper support and intervention. The book introduces critical elements for designing successful interventions and highlights the roles of community-based entrepreneurial ecosystems, public policy, faith, hustle, and fear of failure and success. 🔗 Available now: Poverty, Disadvantage, and the Promise of Enterprise https://lnkd.in/eY8igxdc Susana Correia Santos Ayman El Tarabishy Eric Liguori Katia Passerini Herman Aguinis Winslow Sargeant, Ph.D. Jeffrey Alves #Entrepreneurship #PovertyAlleviation #CapabilitiesFramework #EconomicEmpowerment #Business #PublicPolicy #CommunityEcosystems
