Today is a gratitude post and an invitation to go follow a few people doing some incredible things. Mac Shelton at Sweetbay Capital Mitchell Rice at Elkstone Capital Douglas A. Taylor, Jr. at Jax Elite Realty Justin Britto at Madison Communities Arizona Justin Goodin at Next Level Equity Lee Yoder at Threefold Real Estate Investing Gregory J. Laskody, CCIM at HAUTE CRE, LLC Phillip J. Richardson at Black Opal Property Advisors Inc. Other than Mitch (college buddies!), the rest of the people above I met completely on this platform. They have been great to interact with on and offline and have been encouraging in my own professional development. To those of you on the fence about getting active on this platform, here's how my journey has gone: 2015 - 2017: Teaching others about Jesus Christ in Central Europe. Didn't know much about life, but I was excited to learn! 2018: College freshman, didn't know what I didn't know. Professors implored me to get active on LinkedIn. I gave it a go but quickly got lost in a sea of homework/internships. 2019: Quickly grew up, started finance program, got married. Realized I needed to hit the networking hard. Got more active on LinkedIn. 2020: Discovered passion for real estate in the middle of a global pandemic; decided to go all-in. 4 internships in tech, medical office, senior living, and multifamily/self-storage. 2021: Learning intensifies in finance program and internships. The big "summer internship" arrives. Crushed it 😎. Oct 2021-Oct 2022: Land great job in medical office acquisitions. Loved my time with Caddis. Learned a ton. Oct 2022 - Present: Decided as a family to move to Florida. We've loved our time with D.R. Horton. It's an incredible company to work for, particularly in this capital markets environment. Anyone looking for a position with America's builder, feel free to reach out! All of that is to say, there are some incredible people on this platform eager to expand their network. Go get 'em. #realestate #networking #professionaldevelopment

Spencer Vickers that's incredible, brother. The power of LinkedIn is clearly understated. I, too, have met quite a lot of really cool people. You included.
Spencer Vickers spence. Through out university, we worked on pro formas, pitch competitions, and case competitions together and now we get to do it in the real world with real projects! Humbled by the kind words and shoutout and excited for the projects we will do together some day!
Spencer Vickers incredibly humbling to get a shout out from a true entrepreneur and engaging gentleman. I’ve enjoyed our conversations and learned so much from your analysis and in depth commentary. Nothing but best wishes for the future! Mitchell Rice isn’t too bad himself. Lol
