When COVID-19 hit in 2020, our Aleph portfolio company Travelier was hit hard. Its revenue literally went down to zero overnight. Noam Toister had a bold idea - he wanted to raise $10M to buy out another distressed competitor and consolidate market share. We told him buying one company wouldn't make any difference and helped him get $35M to buy four. Nowadays Travelier is a mega travel group with 7 subsidiaries and 600+ employees.
