Inspired by Shyam Sankar's reference to the role of the destroyer in the video below, here's some additional context: In Hinduism, the universe operates through a cycle of creation (Brahma), maintenance (Vishnu), and destruction (Shiva). This Trimurti isn't just a religious concept; it's a powerful metaphor for innovation. Brahma, the Creator: True innovation, like Brahma's cosmic genesis, is a messy, unpredictable burst of creativity. It's about bringing something new into existence, often challenging the status quo. Vishnu, the Preserver: Maintenance, like Vishnu's role, is essential for stability and refinement. But when taken to extremes, it becomes stagnation – the realm of gatekeepers who protect the old at the expense of the new. Shiva, the Destroyer: Destruction, as embodied by Shiva, is not an end but a necessary prelude to rebirth. It's about dismantling outdated systems to make way for fresh ideas and approaches. #ontopraxis #ignitedminds #growthmindset

Past, n. That part of Eternity with some small fraction of which we have a slight and regrettable acquaintance. A moving line called the Present parts it from an imaginary period known as the Future. These two grand divisions of Eternity, of which the one is continually effacing the other, are entirely unlike. The one is dark with sorrow and disappointment, the other bright with prosperity and joy. The Past is the region of sobs, the Future is the realm of song. In the one crouches Memory, clad in sackcloth and ashes, mumbling penitential prayer; in the sunshine of the other Hope flies with a free wing, beckoning to temples of success and bowers of ease. Yet the Past is the Future of yesterday, the Future is the Past of to-morrow. They are one — the knowledge and the dream. -Ambrose Bierce-

Fleeing or trusting? The way in which people deal with problems reveals much about their Christian character. The psalmist points out two methods in which people try to deal with their problems. There is the "flight method", in which you try to escape or evade your problems. Then there is the "stand fast and trust the Lord method" in which you deal with your problems and overcome them in the name of the Lord. https://lnkd.in/ejDYVhhJ
