Inspired by Shyam Sankar's reference to the role of the destroyer in the video below, here's some additional context: In Hinduism, the universe operates through a cycle of creation (Brahma), maintenance (Vishnu), and destruction (Shiva). This Trimurti isn't just a religious concept; it's a powerful metaphor for innovation. Brahma, the Creator: True innovation, like Brahma's cosmic genesis, is a messy, unpredictable burst of creativity. It's about bringing something new into existence, often challenging the status quo. Vishnu, the Preserver: Maintenance, like Vishnu's role, is essential for stability and refinement. But when taken to extremes, it becomes stagnation – the realm of gatekeepers who protect the old at the expense of the new. Shiva, the Destroyer: Destruction, as embodied by Shiva, is not an end but a necessary prelude to rebirth. It's about dismantling outdated systems to make way for fresh ideas and approaches. #ontopraxis #ignitedminds #growthmindset

We explore the metaphor of the Christian life as a race and a fight, drawing insights from Hebrews chapter 12, verses 1 and 2. This episode looks into how believers are encouraged to persevere in their faith, especially being inspired by a great cloud of witnesses who have gone before us. The Apostle Paul also gives the perspective on life as a race to be run with endurance and a fight to be fought with perseverance. This episode emphasizes the importance of laying aside worldly distractions and sin, focusing on Jesus as the Author and Finisher of our faith, and maintaining spiritual vigilance. Scripture reminds us of the motivations to keep running the race: looking back at faithful witnesses, looking up to Jesus for strength, and looking forward to the joy that awaits. The message encourages believers to avoid spiritual complacency and to actively pursue righteousness, godliness, and love in their walk with Christ.

The hero does not become great during periods of comfort. The illustrious and noble souls of our world became strong, brave and moral whilst standing resolutely in the storms of adversity, difficulty and doubt. It is in the moment that you face your deepest weakness that you receive the chance to forge your greatest strengths. Real power, then, comes not from a life of ease but one of intense effort, devoted discipline and demanding action in the direction of what your supreme self knows to be right. To continue at a time when you ache to stop. To advance when you long to quit. To persist in the instant when you feel like giving up is to claim your membership among the great warriors and honorable characters who led humanity to a better place through their earned invincibility. The author of Jeet Kune Do and "the art of fighting without fighting" and arguably one of martial arts greats, Lee really set the bar high - by removing the bar. With a life cut too short, Lee chose not to set limits on himself, and now we get the opportunity to do the same. If we don't set a cap on our accomplishments and our ability to achieve them, then they are limitless, right? World records get broken every day. The Guinness Book of Book of World Records might never stop being published. Here is a diametrically apposed thought... When is enough, actually enough? What are YOUR thoughts? Let's start the conversation!
