A Year of Tryouts and Growth: Time for an update. The #playground idea of the RecGround Studio in #Hamburg is a match for us and others. One year ago, we launched our new streaming and video content studio in the Hafencity of Hamburg. Today, we're excited to share with you our latest development: the expansion with Studio 🅱️. With the new additional Studio, we're not just expanding our physical space; we're also adding additional sets, a video-cast studio, more in-house equipment, and extra editing stations. It has been partly made possible by the valuable feedback from our clients and format partners, whose suggestions have helped us enhance the studio experience and maximize benefits for all involved. A key aspect of our work is openness to improvements and the integration of new technologies. We are constantly looking for ways to creatively and proactively enhance our services. 🔜 An example of this is our next update, which is currently in the beta phase: It focuses on solutions for virtual productions, including Unreal backgrounds and multi-cam recordings with tracked cameras, making the virtual space more efficient. The composition was written, produced in collaboration with Michael Strebel and Mhm Mhm. *** The 4DSound system(‪@4dsoundtechnologies259‬) at Monom Studio features a 48.9-channel setup, with equally spaced pillars that house three tiers of omnidirectional speakers. This cutting-edge configuration offers arguably the most physical and immersive experience one can have with the spatial sound. *** The composition unfurls with a deep, resonant rumble, as if the earth itself is murmuring secrets, setting a tone of unease. Eerie ambient textures linger in the air, creating a sense of vast emptiness. Then, suddenly, a distorted horn cuts through the stillness, roaring like an ancient creature waking from its slumber, its presence shaking the space. A pulsating bassline emerges—steady yet unpredictable—drawing near only to pull away, repeating this dance until it multiplies, surrounding the listener like a shadow cast in every direction. An explosion erupts from below, hurling sonic debris into the air. The fragments shimmer, transforming into crystalline chimes that drift and float, catching the light of an invisible sun. - As this moment fades, a celestial voice descends, vast and commanding, yet detached from any earthly definition of divinity. It isn't holy, nor is it evil—it is something far more complex, a voice that exists outside the realm of clear moral boundaries, filling the room with an enigmatic energy. An angelic choir rises behind this godly voice, but it does not bring peace, nor does it offer resolution. The layers of sound entwine, wrapping around the listener’s senses in a way that is neither victorious nor despairing. It induces a deep confusion, a beautiful disarray, as if time and space themselves are unravelling. - And still, beneath it all, the rumble persists—an echo of the beginning that refuses to fade, as if the composition itself is haunted by its own origins, lingering like a question unanswered.
