With the intelligent architecture of the battery swap station, the battery swap station can help balance the power demand of the power grid. Sad news in the vehicle charging infrastructure space... FreeWire Technologies has just closed its headquarters and ceased operations. I really liked their idea of a ready-to-use charging solution. It addresses a real pain point in deploying new electric chargers: TIME. Obtaining the necessary power capacity for your charging point from facilities/utilities and completing the installation of cables and electrical equipment can be a process spanning several months. Additionally, it helps reduce peak electricity costs and save money because of its battery energy storage, especially for commercial vehicles. Any thoughts on why it didn't work? High CAPEX?
