SHARESPACE Consortium Meeting in Nicosia, Cyprus! On November 25th and 26th, the old city of Nicosia welcomed the SHARESPACE research consortium at the CYENS Centre of Excellence. Team members from all project partners came together to review progress and plan the next steps in this exciting journey. One of the key milestones discussed was the project’s transition from VR research to exploring augmented reality (AR). This marks an important next step, building on what we’ve learned so far. We also looked at ways to tackle challenges ahead and shared ideas on how to make the most of this new phase. The meeting included some demos of the latest developments in human-avatar collaboration. These innovations are being tested in the project’s proof-of-principle work and discussed for use in three real-world scenarios.
