**AI at the Edge Seminar Recap** 🌟 On October 29th, Sony Semicon (EU) EUTDC had the privilege of participating in the AI at the Edge seminar held in Trento. We showcased the PhD project of Maurizio Patrick De Marchi, titled **“Feasibility Study on Neural Network Acceleration within an Image Sensor.”** This innovative research highlights the potential of integrating AI capabilities directly into image sensors, paving the way for smarter edge devices. Sony Semiconductor Solutions and Raspberry Pi are launching a jointly developed AI camera to accelerate the development of AI solutions which process visual data at the edge. The AI Camera is powered by SSS's IMX500 intelligent vision sensor, which is capable of on-chip AI image processing and enables Raspberry Pi users around the world to easily and efficiently develop edge AI solutions that process visual data.
