Scenariio Ltd’s Post

Our recent Workplace Technology Conference, hosted at the Chocolate Factory, served as a pivotal platform for industry experts and innovators to converge ⚙️ The conference featured insightful discussions on integrating AI into workplace environments, enhancing employee wellbeing through technology, and maximising ROI with intelligent building solutions! Attendees included landlords, architects, and tech firms, with notable exhibitors like wtec Smartengine, CommScope, and more, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in movement sensors, network infrastructures, LED lighting, and data centres 💡 Keynote speaker Andrew Heywood Hughes highlighted the transformative impact of patient-centric building design in healthcare, urging a shift towards more thoughtful, technology-enabled environments. His address resonated deeply, emphasising the disparity between initial building design budgets and long-term operational costs. Rob Pritchard, Managing Director at Scenariio, said: "Smart technology makes a huge difference in helping to control running costs, yet Andrew’s talk was a perfect illustration of how too little thought and budget is invested in the design stage, which is when the technology needs to be considered. “As a result, the UK is lagging behind other countries when it comes to installing smart technology. That’s why getting people together and generating these conversations at events such as our conference is so important, not only for our industry but for anyone who is involved in designing or operating the UK’s workplaces."
