As a group, we have the power to rally around the causes that count 🩷 💙 This year, all employees of the Saur Group took part worldwide in the 'Pink Movember' movement. This special initiative has been implemented to raise awareness of two of the most commonly diagnosed cancers: breast cancer and prostate cancer. Our teams have once again shown exceptional commitment on a global scale. They are showing up for the cause because together, our solidarity and awareness really can make a difference. ➡️ We educated ourselves through webinars and workshops to better understand cancer screening and prevention. ➡️ We led marches that brought together numerous collaborators, creating a stunning wave of pink and blue caps—even in the snow! ➡️ We created a variety of fun challenges around "Pink Movember" that added to the educational and festive atmosphere. Thanks to this incredible collective effort, the ground was able to raise funds and donate to leading cancer organizations. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their dedication and enthusiasm. #MissionWater Patrick Blethon Hugo Bardi Rony BEJJANI Constance Covillard Charline Danseux Guillaume DOLBEAU Anne-Laure Duvaud Silham EL KASMI Marie FRANCOLIN Philippe Geurts Estelle GRELIER GUYOT Richard Menno M. We are thrilled to announce that Cancer Research UK has been named the most loved charity brand of 2024, according to Savanta's BrandVue report. This is a testament to the impact of our unwavering commitment to beating cancer and our refreshed brand. The results are based on 60,000 interviews conducted over the past year through Savanta’s BrandVue study, which tracks sentiment towards approximately 120 brands. Brand Love is determined by the percentage of people stating that they 'love' a brand, based on a seven-point scale ranging from love to hate, with an additional option for those unfamiliar with the brand. Data from BrandVue Charities reveals that 43% of the UK say they have friends or family impacted by cancer. It is unsurprising then that this year’s rankings highlight the continued dominance of healthcare charities. Together, we want to continue making greater progress - bringing hope to people everywhere affected by cancer. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our supporters for their ongoing support and collaboration. Together, we are beating cancer. hashtag #cancerresearchuk #research #mostlovedcharitybrand2024

"Imagine a future where cancer is a relic of the past—a world where hope triumphs over despair." On Saturday night, my wife Jennifer Stack, and I attended the Champions of Hope event hosted by St. Louis CEOs Against Cancer. A heartfelt thank you to Tim M. Murch, CBSE for the generous invitation. This cause is deeply personal to us; we've both lost parents to cancer, and we have friends currently battling this relentless disease. The evening was a testament to the power of community and compassion. Volunteers poured their hearts into every detail, and the generosity of companies and individuals was nothing short of inspiring. Over $1.1M was raised, with every cent dedicated to pioneering research that could save lives. In my role as a COO and consultant, I often talk about illuminating opportunities and driving best-in-class performance. Last night, I witnessed an opportunity of a different kind—an opportunity to change the future. The funds raised will fuel cutting-edge research, bringing us closer to a world where cancer is no longer a threat. As professionals, we often focus on metrics and outcomes. But let’s not forget the human element—the impact we can have when we unite for a cause greater than ourselves. Imagine leveraging our skills and networks to drive change in areas that truly matter. If you're moved by this cause, I urge you to learn more about this incredible organization at https://lnkd.in/gQDWxQhX. Better yet, consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org. Every contribution counts in this fight against cancer. Let’s be the generation that looks back and says, "We made a difference." Please like, comment, or share this post to spread the word and inspire others to join this crucial battle. #Hope #Future #Community

Ninety (90) days until Tap Cancer Out’s Global Grappling Day (https://tapcancerout.org/). I will be grappling non-stop for 60 minutes to raise money for cancer treatment. In #bjj we say “OSS!” which is short for “Oshi Shinobu”. It is Japanese for “to endure even when being pushed.” I am raising in honor of three of the strongest women I know. My goal for fundraising is $3000 in total - $1000 for each of them My page: https://lnkd.in/g2r-n67Y Why $1000? Simple. $1 an hour. When I was researching breast cancer statistics I came across this 2020 study called “Healthcare-related time costs in patients with metastatic breast cancer” (page: https://lnkd.in/gE6fjfjQ ) and came across some numbers around how much time was spent by patients on health care during the first 3 months of Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) treatment. The study shows patients: - spent between 35 (low-end, no hospitalization) and 225 (high-end, with hospitalization) during those first 90 days. - the average amongst the study was between 160 and 180 hours. - the average treatment cycle for breast cancer is 18 months. The math worked out to around 1000 hours, give or take. - That is 6 months of working at a full-time job. - That doesn’t include the time recuperating from treatment between visits. - That doesn’t include the impact on having less time and energy to do things they used to do. - That does not include the financial cost for transportation to and from appointments and treatments (gas, flights, accommodations) So, the hour I grapple is a drop in the bucket. The money I am raising will go to a cause much greater than myself. A huge thank you to: - those who have donated; - those who have shared these posts; - those thinking about contributing; and - Professor Adrian J Trevino and the team at Atomic Jiu-Jitsu in Buda, TX for their support and tutelage For those who are fighting this disease, OSS!!!
