🌍 MISSION ZERO is Taking Shape & Epic Milestone for Renasys in Wastewater Treatment! 🌊 ♒   As we face the much needed and stricter EU regulations, our team is pushing the frontiers with our modular and scalable solutions now being installed in #Førde, #SunnfjordKommune.   This marks a significant achievement for renasys and our #water #wastewater treatment technologies where #NRK #Vestlandsrevyen was on site to see our modules getting hoisted into place. 🥳 We’re chuffed to share that our Advanced Thermal Conversion (ATC) Gasification project has been awarded £2.3m from Ofwat’s Innovation Fund as part of the Water Breakthrough Challenge. ✨ The aim of this innovative project is to prove that gasification of 100% of sewage sludge destroys contaminants such as microplastics and ‘forever chemicals’, preventing them from re-entering the environment, and creates biochar and syngas, which have multiple, environmentally sustainable uses. By converting sewage sludge at high temperatures, the ATC Gasification process not only aims to reduce harmful pollutants but also supports a circular economy by turning the by-products into valuable resources. These include using biochar as a soil improver and in brick manufacturing, and converting syngas into green electricity and even aviation fuel. We are proud to lead this initiative alongside our partners; Enertecgreen Ltd. With a $750,000 investment through the TIER fund, Eximius Environmental Solutions is advancing the development of a filtration system featuring the innovative VelRay X filter. This unique and innovative technology is designed to remove total suspended solids from the variable water conditions in the oil and gas industry. By improving water quality for reuse, the system reduces the need for fresh water, minimizes wastewater disposal, prevents equipment blockages, extends equipment lifespan, and mitigates pollution risks -- all leading to significant cost savings for the industry. On Monday, we announced something big! We're integrating the innovative VelRay X filter into a first-of-its-kind mobile filtration system capable of processing up to 13,000 m³/day. This solution will help transform water management in Alberta’s oil and gas sector—particularly for hydraulic fracturing—by streamlining the entire water lifecycle, from sourcing to flowback treatment and reuse. The VelRay X filters particles as small as 20 microns, handles high solids loads (including iron, organic materials, and FOG), and features a compact, energy-efficient design with a patented self-cleaning mechanism and particle sepration techniques. It enhances water quality, boosts well performance, reduces landfill waste, greenhouse gas emissions, and maintenance needs, all while improving safety and aligning with sustainability goals. Waste incineration and sewage sludge 🌊   🔙 Potsdamer Fachtagung   Our Department Manager Wet FGC Claudia Bautsch and our Sales Director DACH and Western Europe Marco Alessandri joined the event.   The ideal place to share ideas and real project experiences with market leaders in #FGC technology, suppliers, plant owners and operators 🤝   We joined exciting discussions about improving existing technology and integrating modern tools and new technological approaches. A special focus was placed on post-combustion #carboncapture systems and a method for integrated energy recovery in the FGC system.    We discussed how we can reduce emissions with high efficiency and at the same time achieve high cost-effectiveness for the construction and operation of #WtE plants and addressed the question of where the emission limits are heading.   To see that all attendees are working in the same direction towards a cleaner and a more sustainable world was impressive 🌎🌱 📆 February 29. – March 01., 2024 📍 Potsdam #PotsdamerFachtagung
