This strategic move cements ERMA FIRST’s position as a leader in 𝐁𝐖𝐓𝐒 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. AECOM and Aquatech recently announced an agreement to accelerate the deployment of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS) destruction technology. Frank Sweet, Chief Executive of AECOM’s Global Environmental Business, shared, “As AECOM continues to accelerate the development of our proprietary DE-FLUORO™ PFAS destruction technology, our agreement with Aquatech provides the capability to offer full-service commercialization from initial evaluation to on-site treatment programs.” Backed by six years of research, development, and demonstration, DE-FLUORO is a patented, field-proven electrochemical oxidation technology that destroys #PFAS. Outstanding technology and solution !

Yesterday, CETENMA attended the final project meeting of the 🇪🇺 LIFE B2E4SustWWTP in Rethymno (Crete, 🇬🇷). We could visit the pilot plant settled in the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) of Rethymno and observe it working, achieving the main milestone of the project. 🌍 The solution implements an innovative close to market and self-sustainable system to treat the biosolids generated in a WWTP. This treatment gasifies the biosolids, producing both thermal energy and electricity, decreasing one of the key costs related to a WWTP: the energy consumption. Furthermore, the B2E system reduces the biosolid volume generated. 🤗 Thanks to the partners, our project manager Silvia Donato, Theoharis Tzisovaras, monitoring expert at ELMEN/NEEMO EEIG and specifically my colleagues Jose Miguel Paredes and Andrés Lara Guillén for the great work and effort done. 💪🏻 Let's continue working to achieve a complete sustainable industry. #Innovation, #LIFEProgramme, #Circulareconomy, #sustainability, #CETENMA
