Remembrance Day is a time to pause, honour, and reflect on the sacrifices made by those who fought for the freedoms and peace we often take for granted. It is a day to pay respect to the men and women who gave their lives in wars and conflicts around the world, standing up for values of freedom, justice, and dignity for others, often at great personal cost. As we observe Remembrance Day, it’s essential not only to honour their bravery but also to absorb the lessons they left behind. War has a heavy toll, not just on those who fight but on families, communities, and generations. It reminds us that peace is precious and that we must strive to avoid repeating past mistakes. Through remembrance, we keep alive the lessons of history, understanding that these sacrifices were not made so future generations could live in conflict, but in the hope of a more peaceful world. Let us take this day as an opportunity to reflect on the courage of the few who gave everything for the many, and to renew our commitment to building a future where such sacrifices are no longer necessary.

A life of Integrity, should be a life founded in value for human life, love and peace ,nourished by non violence through respect for human dignity, producing human development and improvement. That is what we preach in "The Integrity Organization". ISN-ODP/FMP: Nebeolism-Igweism (2024/10/09)

This meme delivers a powerful critique of war and its devastating consequences. The first quote, from John Steinbeck, states that “All war is a symptom of man’s failure as a thinking animal,” emphasizing that humanity’s inability to solve conflicts through reason results in destructive violence. The accompanying visual of a burning structure reinforces the chaos and loss inherent in war. The second statement, displayed on a digital screen, reads, “You cannot build a Holy Land for your children on the mass graves of other children.” This poignant message condemns the idea of achieving peace or prosperity through violence and conquest, particularly when it comes at the cost of innocent lives. Together, these messages underscore the moral and intellectual failure of war, reminding us that the pursuit of justice and a better future cannot be built on the suffering and destruction of others.

On this October 7, we pause to reflect on the profound impact of the ongoing conflicts and the devastating toll it has taken on innocent lives. In times like these, our hearts are heavy with the pain and loss felt by so many around the world. It is a moment to honor those who have been affected, to mourn with those grieving, and to offer our unwavering support to all who are suffering. As we remember the lives lost and the families torn apart, we also recognize the resilience of the human spirit. In the face of violence and tragedy, the power of unity, empathy, and compassion becomes even more essential. We must stand together, not only in remembrance but also in our shared hope for a future defined by peace, understanding, and mutual respect. Now more than ever, we are reminded of the need for dialogue and reconciliation, and the importance of working towards a world where such tragedies are no longer a reality. Today, we reflect not only on the loss but on the strength and courage of those who continue to push for a better tomorrow.

If you don’t want it done to you, don’t do it to someone else. It’s common sense. My head is spinning with everything that has been going on. You have to truly work extra hard to protect your mind, body and soul. The attacks are real. There are very simple solutions and guidelines that have been already set, to allow us the ability to live in unity and peace. Furthermore,to have the opportunity to continue to create. Without creation, there isn’t any life. Period. Let us continue to live The American Dream! We once were the most powerful nation, until we became the circus. It’s embarrassing. I thought by now, our streets would be paved in gold-not potholes. What happened to America? My take-simple policies that will allow everything in between to flow effortlessly and with productivity. 1. Put God first 2. Honor The United States by putting The United States first 3. Law and Order 4. The Constitution 5. The Bill of Rights Any questions?

simple yet profound question: What can be done?
Never underestimate the difference you can make as an individual. 165 years ago today, Henry Dunant witnessed the horrors of the Battle of Solferino, where 40,000 soldiers lay dead or wounded. Confronted with this tragedy, he asked a simple yet profound question: What can be done? Driven by compassion, he mobilized the local community to care for the injured, regardless of their allegiance, and to collect the last messages of the dying for their loved ones. This pivotal moment sparked a movement. Four years later, Dunant founded the Red Cross, an enduring symbol of humanity. We are the heirs of Henry Dunant. His life and legacy remind us that even in the face of overwhelming challenges, the power of individual action is immense. Human history is still being written, and our actions can shape a better world. Don’t get overwhelmed. Always ask yourself how you can show up for others.

The biggest destroyer of our peace is actually our pride. Check out my new blog post as I engage with this topic and how I personally wrestled with this in my own life. https://lnkd.in/g8SacxVx

As a Christian I'd prefer a president that believes in prayer and trusts in God. However, we do live in a fallen world that has turned its collective back on God. I do not personally vote based on my faith. I listen to what candidates say and what they do. I've heard Trump talk about God several times and he even gave God the credit for saving him from an assassins bullet. I vote for the candidate that most closely supports things that are important to me....like....secure borders, an exit strategy for the 9-10 million illegals that Biden and Harris invited into America (but have a speedy path to citizenship for those illegals that have been here for decades but they cannot be given the right to vote), energy independence (again), bring more jobs back to America, and to stop sending money to other countries that hate us when we have hunger and homelessness here (fix America first). SIDE NOTE: If you claim to be a Christian then this last episode with Kamala Harris telling 2 Christian guys they were at the wrong rally after they shouted out "Christ is King and Jesus is Lord" then you shouldn't vote for her. I can vote for a non-Christian candidate but I cannot vote for an anti-God candidate like Kamala Harris that makes fun of Christians in public. #VoteTrump2024

This got me in the feels. This man who lost his entire business in Helene... yet watch as he prays over Trump and the country! “I can’t think of anything I’d rather have than a warrior leading our country, a warrior with faith and prayer who will lead these communities back to greatness." REPOST and amplify his voice!! #thinblueline #lawenforcement
