THE NAME OF THE GAME: How to name your product or brand. When you land on a name, whether it’s for a new brand, ltd company, a product, course or a podcast, it feels SO good. It’s that feeling when everythings falls into place and an idea becomes reality. But people get so stuck on this. It’s a real challenge that stops people at the front door. So here's what to look for when you're coming up with a name: 🌶 It's relevant in your market and relevant to your specific audience 🌶 There's potential for longevity - don’t pick a word that is trendy and won’t last 🌶 Make it memorable e.g alliteration or a pun 🌶 Communicates a benefit - if your customers don't know you or your product, then create a 'does what it says on the tin' title. If you're already a known brand to them, you can afford to be more creative with your title. 🌶 Identify the core emotions you want your customers to feel when they read the name. I know this sounds woowoo but this is the secret sauce! Think of words or phrases that fit the feeling you want to give them. 🌶 Now don’t overthink it, just write everything that comes to mind to create all sorts of word combos. 🌶 The best words to use are words that communicate action and emotion - power words. If you take ONE thing away it's this... ...Choose words that communicate action and emotion Comment below with your proudest name ideas!

what stops you from posting more often? you sit there with videos you recorded for your podcast and do nothing with them. "it's going to be so exciting" you told yourself "this is hard" you now tell yourself "I have a podcast" you tell others but no one had ever seen your work. you've said your going to do it you were so excited to get moving on something that would finally help you tell your story but that was years ago, now. your stuff? your recordings? your ideas... where are they now? do you even remember? "what happened?", you ask yourself I had it all together but never posted it or you posted it all one time and that was it, the excitement for you was over so you never posted it again. what if you had some way to get it fresh again? what if you could breath new life into it? what if you didn't even have to do more work on it unless you wanted to and you could start getting others excited about the work you did? what if you were just one DM away from that happening immediately? what if people could hear your message? get to know your story? let me help with that. I've build a tool that takes your one shot to tell your story into 10x opportunities. and all you have to do is send one message (DM) to me and I'll get you the exposure you're looking for in front of the people you're looking to be in front of, within any timeline you want. I'll even guarantee it in blood. sorry, I mean in writing. I'll guarantee it in writing and sign it. ready to get started today? we can call it a "test" and try it out for less than a cup of Starbucks. I'd love to help you get your message out, if love to see people start hearing your story and begin connecting with you. the question is, are you ready? ready to start having people message you and start asking you for appointments? ready for people to start asking for your opinion on how they should do stuff in life or business? that's what happened to me let's make it happen for you. send me a DM right now, to get your message heard and your phone ringing.

Been building something fun lately. Not the usual work stuff—just a silly podcast where my husband and I argue about rom-coms. 🎬 While all of this is just for fun, I found myself naturally turning to Canva. Turns out the tool I build every day is perfect for getting a podcast off the ground. 🎨 Magic Write has been saving our show notes—turning our post-movie debates into something actually readable ✨ The 2025 Design Trends report somehow became our inspiration for the whole look and feel 🎯 Magic Design to brainstorm how we create our social posts to share with our friends It's pretty special using something you build day-in and day-out for something completely personal. Reminds me why we make these things in the first place—not just for work projects, but for anyone trying to bring their ideas to life. Curious about our rom-com debates? Find us at Enemies to Lovers. And if you're not using Canva for your everyday creations yet, get started.

Contrary to what most people think, the best energy to bring to your work is not motivation, determination or even inspiration. It's generosity. Why? Because authentic, energetic generosity can only exist when you already have what you need and more. Super abundance is something we work with our clients to create so that they never land in a scarcity mindset, grasping for customers. Not only is it more fun to market and sell from generosity, giving your people what they want and need, but it is often easier. Last week Erin and I sat down and wrote out a quick-start guide that includes 5 ways you can create a more generous business. You will learn: - how to guide someone from browsing your business to becoming a paying client - how to overdeliver so your customers feel like VIP's - how to make sure your client facing team builds lasting customer relationships (instead of destroying them) The best part? It is free, because I want you to have this info to create a more generous business of your own. Get the free quickstart guide and the podcast now: https://hubs.li/Q02NFDyY0

Are you doing the basics? I listened to a podcast interview with Tiago Forte, author of Building a second brain, and Jay Clouse asked him how he built such a large email list for his business. Tiago said something like "I just did what everybody recommends, I did the basics. That stuff works if you actually do it" A lot of my clients come to me looking for some secret marketing hack to make their business work. I'm a fan of creative thinking and using it to do something original and make your business stand out, but you also need to just do those basics: set up an autoresponder, give people a compelling reason to opt in, do the things that bring new visitors to that page, then email them interesting, useful, stuff regularly. It's hard to slog through some of these tasks when we're impatient but the rewards are worth it.

Stop chasing your unique voice…it doesn’t exist. A few months ago, when I was new to LinkedIn, I kept hearing the same cookie-cutter advice: → “Use your unique voice to stand out.” → “Find your authentic tone.” It sounded simple, but it wasn’t. I was frustrated. Paralyzed. Overthinking every word. Waiting for my voice to magically show up so I could finally stand out. Here’s the truth no one told me: Your voice isn’t something you find. It’s something you create. And that creation takes time (and that’s okay). Every book you devour. Every podcast you tune into. Every interaction with brilliant minds. Your voice is a mix of these influences… and it gets sharper with every step forward. So, if you’re starting out, please don’t overthink it. And if you’re an experienced creator, let’s not make this harder for newcomers. You don’t need a unique voice to start; you create it by showing up consistently. Remember, I’m walking this path with you 🤍 P.S. Are you waiting for your voice to “show up”?

Here’s how to be the Marketer Speaker. Once I got an entire room of buttoned-up executives to throw their credit cards at me? (No, I didn't promise them the secret to eternal youth or a strip tease... though that would've worked too.) 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗜 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 💣 Halfway through, I drop this bomb: "𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘢 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘱 𝘐'𝘮 𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘤." BAM! 💥 Curiosity ignited. Phones down. All eyes on me. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸? Because our brains HATE unfinished business. It's like that cliffhanger season finale that keeps you up at night and counting down the weeks till next season. The best part? People ALWAYS remember to ask. It's like they've appointed themselves my personal assistant for the day. But here's the kicker - this is just ONE of the 7 "magical phrases" I share in my latest podcast episode. Want to know the other 6? Well, I guess you'll just have to tune in to find out... 😉 𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗗𝗘 𝟮𝟯𝟮 𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗞 𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 See what I did there? I also have a PDF with all 17 Magic Phrases I use….type MAGIC if you want a copy. Happy audience conversion!

The first three questions a podcast developer should ask when discussing your project are: 1. Why do you *really* want to create this? 2. How will you define success? 3. What's the goal? If they don’t start with these questions, the rest of your time with them is pointless. Typically, a show will have one primary goal with a few secondary objectives, making every path distinct. If you’re creating a B2B show to build a pipeline, your strategy and content will differ significantly than if you wanted to collect some big vanity metrics to boost your credentials and secure speaking engagements. Outstanding, memorable content is a given, so it’s not even on the list. Is our content so good that listeners will share it? Always lead the creative by establishing the goal. I started doing this very early on in my radio career with every individual break of a show: 🎤 Is the content meant to engage listeners for ten more minutes? 🎤 Are we keeping a major advertiser happy? 🎤 Is it to check a box set by management? 🎤 Is it an ego boost for one of the hosts? Define the real objective then execute to meet that, while creating outstanding and memorable content. Every time. That’s the formula for a successful show. Guaranteed.
