Contrary to what most people think, the best energy to bring to your work is not motivation, determination or even inspiration. It's generosity. Why? Because authentic, energetic generosity can only exist when you already have what you need and more. Super abundance is something we work with our clients to create so that they never land in a scarcity mindset, grasping for customers. Not only is it more fun to market and sell from generosity, giving your people what they want and need, but it is often easier. Last week Erin and I sat down and wrote out a quick-start guide that includes 5 ways you can create a more generous business. You will learn: - how to guide someone from browsing your business to becoming a paying client - how to overdeliver so your customers feel like VIP's - how to make sure your client facing team builds lasting customer relationships (instead of destroying them) The best part? It is free, because I want you to have this info to create a more generous business of your own. Get the free quickstart guide and the podcast now: https://hubs.li/Q02NFDyY0

Are you willing to defy the odds to guarantee your success? Let me show you how. If you want to guarantee success, you have to outwork chance. You have to go beyond the odds. You have to ask a thousand AND ONE people. Then you’ll be the kind of person who doesn’t have to question if they’ll make it. You’ll be the kind of person who KNOWS they will. What is your chance of getting the promotion? Or writing a best seller? Or signing your first client? Or getting a follower? Or making a pound? Calculate it. Outwork it. Don’t leave it up to chance. When I coach you on your impossible goal, one of the first things we do together is to calculate the odds. Even if your chance is really, really small, we figure out what it will take to guarantee it happening. Once we’re sure we have a simple, clear, guaranteed plan, only THEN do we start executing it. Whether your goal is getting fully booked in business, starting a successful podcast, writing a best seller or opening a boutique, I can help you make it happen. It’s what I do all day. I help people hit their biggest, craziest goals.

That drive to "sell more" or "get more clients"? It could be what's holding you back. Most entrepreneurs: • Focus on selling tactics • See their audience as number • overlook the power of empathy The result? They miss out on real connection. Remember: • Your clients want to feel understood, not just sold to • Showing empathy is someone’s reassurance • Leading with care is what truly sets you apart Especially today, people want to feel seen and heard. They want to work with someone who gets them. So, next time you’re writing a post or putting together a campaign, ask yourself, “How can I serve my audience today?” That’s where trust—and long-term success—begins. And if you want more on how this translates into actual marketing strategies, tune into Marketing Your Truth, my new podcast (link in the comment 👇). Each week, we’ll dive into ways to lead with empathy to make a real, lasting impact.

Ready to turn words into leads, clients, and bookings? Some coaches and consultants just seem to step off the stage to a flurry of business cards and credit cards. No, they're not wizards (though I can't confirm they don't have a wand hidden in their blazer). In my latest "Be In Demand" podcast episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on the not-so-secret sauce of successful AUDIENCE CONVERSION. Spoiler alert: It's all about strategically placed "magic phrases" that work harder than that overachieving intern we all secretly admire. Here's what you'll learn: 🔺 How to subtly (and ethically) inject your offers into your talk without sounding like a late-night infomercial 🔺 The art of making your audience forget their phones exist (no, not by confiscating them at the door) 🔺 Why building anticipation is like foreplay for your call-to-action (too far? Nah, we're all professionals here) Whether you're a seasoned speaker or just dipping your toes into the presentation pool, this episode is your ticket to transforming your talks from "meh" to "take my money!" Tune in now and get ready to have people throwing business cards at you like confetti. 😁 Don't worry, I'll teach you how to dodge them gracefully too. Most people you follow don't know what they're talking about. But they were on Diary of a CEO/[insert favourite biz celeb podcast]... so they must be legit - right? RIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT?! 😕 Yesterday, I watched my friend Frederick Kermisch do his thing at the The Financial Services Forum In a room full of financial services professionals, people were gripped by his perspective. A perspective he CONFIDENTLY delivered. Funny thing is, Fred actually does know what he's talking about. But his point was that a lot of very confident (and loud) people don't. We’re ALL more confident about some things than others. Sometimes that confidence comes from competence gained over time. Sometimes it’s artificially created. The trick is knowing which is which. And social media doesn’t make it any easier. But it’s not just your internet faves that are talking about things from different levels of confidence and competence. You’re doing it too. So are your prospects. If we assume people’s level of knowledge, we can’t align our message with what they want to hear. And without alignment they won’t connect, or buy, or even care. So what assumptions are you making about your prospects? And what assumptions are they making about you? Figure that out and you can tell the right story to the right people. If you want to understand what assumptions might be hurting your business… just ask. Maybe I can help.

I never give too many advice to my clients. It’s always 1-2 small changes: - Define your ICP e.g. Find out what their biggest perceived pain is. - Differentiate your brand from the rest e.g. 1 unique way you work that’s different from your competitors. - Decide how you want your dream clients to see you e.g. Are you authoritative? Confident? A storyteller? That’s what gets them results like: - 2 leads per week within 2 months - 25% revenue growth in 30 days - 2 podcast invitations in 20 days Small changes lead to huge results.
