In 2023, the art of glassmaking was included in the Lists of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Now, the Federation of Crystal and Glass (Fédération du Cristal et du Verre) has decided to pay tribute to this extraordinary material in a dedicated exhibition: "Les gestes verriers”. This show will take place from 21st September 2024 to 19th January 2025 along the railings of the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris, offering visitors the chance to discover the beauty of glass, the craftsmanship involved in its creation, and a great deal more. There will be 80 photographs on display, coming from 33 workshops throughout France, including those of Zignago Vetro. For us, it is a source of immense pride to be able to show - through these images – the importance and magical mystique of the material we work with every day. #ZignagoVetro #glassproduction #glassindustry #innovation #circulareconomy #jardinduluxembourg

Can you imagine the work that goes into creating a stand of this size and stature? 🤯 Every design element, health & safety aspect, brand requirement and customer impact consideration needs a level of knowledge and detail that takes years to perfect. (Luckily enough, we have plenty of that here between everyone. 😂) #exhibitionstands #b2b #b2c #standdesign #exhibitions #customerexperience #projectdevelopment #projectmanagement
Watch our largest exhibition stand to date come to life! 🤩 Months of meticulous planning and days of construction resulted in our biggest stand yet. And here's the twist - halfway through we flipped the design! 🙃 Initially horizontal, the design wasn't quite hitting the mark. So in a moment of clarity, we turned it on its head - and now cannot imagine it any other way! 🤩 What's your biggest eureka moment? If you're planning your next exhibition (of any size!), DM to see what we can create for you. ✨ #primarylive #exhibition #exhibitionstand #exhibitionstands #exhibitiondesign #exhibitions #eventstream #europeanevents #design

New exhibition design by FACTORY! When does the past end and the present begin, and what exists in the in-between? The nature of time is often explored through the lens of both permanence and transience. How does the fluidity of memory, which is deeply subjective, shape the process of art-making? If there might be an aesthetic that expresses the complex relationship between loss, time, and solitude, how would it look like? What visual or conceptual elements would it involve? An Ode to Absence is an exhibition that explores these questions. By considering the notions of “lack” and “longing,” the exhibition delves into how these themes can articulate the nuances of temporal experience and the conceptual weight of absence. Featuring works drawn from private art collections, An Ode to Absence is an exercise of a curatorial methodology that seeks to create connections between seemingly disparate pieces to reveal underlying themes that might otherwise remain obscured. Through this process, the curatorial approach transforms individual pieces into a narrative that invites viewers to contemplate the time as an interplay between presence and absence, and the dimensions of the ephemeral and the enduring. Curated by Michelle Ho Exhibition opens from 23/9 till 22/11/24 ADM Gallery, 81 Nanyang Drive, Singapore 637458 Monday - Friday, 10-5pm, Saturday open by appointments. Closed on Sunday, Public Holidays and term breaks.

A Snapshot of the German Art Market Germany has long been one of Europe’s most influential art markets, driven by a blend of cultural history, contemporary innovation, and strong public support. With major hubs in Berlin, Munich, and Cologne, Germany attracts global collectors, art fairs, and cutting-edge galleries that promote both established and emerging artists. Here are key trends shaping the market: Contemporary and Digital Art Growth: While German collectors traditionally favored classic and modern art, there’s growing interest in contemporary, digital, and NFT-based works, as younger collectors engage with more diverse media. Resilient Art Fairs and Galleries: Renowned fairs like Art Cologne and Gallery Weekend Berlin continue to attract international crowds, creating vital platforms for German galleries and artists. The German government’s strong cultural funding support has also helped galleries weather economic challenges. Sustainability and Social Impact: The German art market is increasingly emphasizing sustainability and social awareness, with artists and collectors aligning with eco-conscious practices. Galleries and fairs are adapting to these values, integrating environmentally responsible practices in exhibitions and art production. Accessible Collecting: Initiatives like art financing and partnerships with public museums are making art more accessible to a broader audience. Emerging collectors can engage with the art market through alternative channels, fostering a more inclusive landscape. Germany’s art market remains vibrant, embracing new forms while preserving its rich cultural legacy. For artists, collectors, and industry professionals, Germany continues to offer a unique blend of tradition and forward-thinking innovation. #ArtMarket #Germany #ContemporaryArt #Sustainability #ArtCollectors #Innovation #ArtGallery

Museum Exhibits in 3️⃣0️⃣ seconds - Walk the Line Exhibition: BRKN - It is the faith of glass to break. Exhibit: Walk the Line Introduction: The installation ‘Walk the Line’ visualizes the kind of discipline and restraint we all choose to exercise in order to coexist responsibly and harmoniously. It is about staying true to ourselves, and to those whose promises we keep. The work invites visitors to physically walk the line: a path of light, culminating in a floor-to-ceiling LED wall displaying the lyrics to the now iconic, eponymous song. These tenets that individuals choose to uphold - or to break - are of course intangible. Their ethereal quality is evoked here by reflections of solid, overhead strips of light, resulting in a bright white line that appears to hover above a mirrored floor. A work about trust, and faith, and about responsibilities, its emotive musical accompaniment acknowledges that to walk the line is not always easy to do. About: The series "Museum Exhibits in 30 seconds" introduces new exhibits, installations and spaces at the Shanghai Museum of Glass, curated, designed and brought to life by COO Studio. - #shanghaimuseumofglass #museum #museumdesign #shanghai #culture #exhibitiondesign #installations #designinstallations #artinstallations #ai

Seeing this excites me because it reminds me of seeing famous kid-friendly brands partnering with brands like Harvey Nichols! 🛍 This is not just about advertising consumer products or targeting a specific audience - to me, it shows that there IS a wide adult audience, or 'kidult' audience (e.g. Lego, Nintendo, Disney-Pixar, Sanrio, Ghibli, etc.)! 😊❤️🎞🎮 #marketing #branding #audiencetargeting #audienceresearch #kidult #animation #advertising #characterdesign
SUPER EXCITED to announce the release of our latest work with Harvey Nichols for their partnership with the Design Museum for 'The World Of Tim Burton'; a global exhibition! 🙌 As you can imagine, this project has definitely had our team in the full Christmas spirit these past few months... 😂🎄 We poured so much into this—from bringing Tim Burton's Robot Boy character to life in CGI for the very first time, to recreating Harvey Nichols' gorgeous in-store Christmas products range. You can check out the film in it's full glory and dive into our project breakdown on our website here: https://lnkd.in/ekhnj-UX Directed by: The Berry Boys Production & Post: The Berry Client: Harvey Nichols In partnership with: the Design Museum & The World Of Tim Burton
