While researching more about Customer Success, 4 things became key for me: - A Quantifiable Score: can be internal product metrics or a scale signaling certain indicators. Could be a number or a color code. - Focus on outcomes: it's not about # of meetings, calls or "touch-points" (whatever that means), it's about reaching goals (active users, daily log-ins, ROI numbers) and highlighting them since they can be as specific as clients you have. Pro-tip: run this as consecutive Projects if possible. Renewal and Expand protocols: for SMBs, retaining and expanding existing customers is key, so a clear roadmap to help them achieve their "Aha moment" will increase their LTV. - Platform your customers: set them up so they can refer you, invite them to make content (podcasts, articles, events) and give them as much spotlight as you can. Start your webinar a few minutes before the posted going live time - It gives people time to get settled in - Rewards early birds who are probably the most engaged folks - You waste no scheduled time getting started (start on time, end on time) 2. Give attendees something to do - Put in conversation starters - Set the tone for interaction and to drive engagement - Learn about them 3. For goodness sake...some light pre-show music and a first slide Even in 2024 I still attend workshops where everyone is awkwardly participating in a silent episode of the Brady Bunch waiting for someone to speak up. - - These digital experiences show be like attending a great house party. 🎉 ❌ Without a pre-show, you would pull up the driveway and go through the front door; the foyer is empty but you see a few strangers in the next room. ✅ With a pre-show, you can hear lights and hear activity as you walk up to the front door. Upon entering someone hands you a beverage and says, "We're excited to have you here. Some of my friends are just over by the fridge getting snacks if you need a bite." - - Consider the pre-show. Find ways to put your digital twin to work to free up your time. But start simple.
