Some may say nowaday cars are missing a clear signature. I don‘t think so. Just have a look at the iconic Audi e-tron GT. An impressive design and an exceptional driving performance. Needless to say my children call it a dream car. But how did a real dream car look nearly 100 years ago? First of all it was a silver arrow and some of these arrows were engineered by Mercedes-Benz and the others were developed by Auto Union a predecessor of AUDI AG. The two brands battled like hell - glory times in Motorsport. So many secrets and legendary stories about drivers and dream cars. But hardly anyone knows that a street-legal sports car version with a 16! cylinder engine was also planned. The Auto Union Type 52. Now Audi has built this car to show the heritage of the #4rings. Why? Because we love dream cars. It‘s in our DNA and a magic proof point to show that #VorsprungDurchTechnik is not a new claim. It has always been there, since the first steps of Audi.
