As we near the end of 2024, the pressure is on to wrap up the year in the best way possible. And, amidst of it all, life after work continues and reminds me of what also matters.   Looking back on the month of December; I celebrated my 12,5-year wedding anniversary—12.5 years of love, growth, and learning by each other’s side. I celebrated my father's birthday with my family, a moment that fills my heart with gratitude, and I started personal training twice a week, trying to hold back time and maybe cheat a little on aging 😉.   At the same time, I look around, and the Christmas tree shines brightly, both at home and at the office, a constant reminder of warmth, togetherness, and reflection. 2024 Has been a year of change. I said goodbye to Douglas after 11+ years of memories, challenges, and shared journeys. It wasn’t easy, but it marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter at Trendfactory. A year of change. A year of growth. A year of new opportunities.   Looking back, I feel incredibly blessed. The chance to meet so many wonderful and inspiring new colleagues at Trendfactory and counterparts at Rituals has been a true gift. What an extraordinary companies, full of passionate, kind, and brilliant individuals. I can only look forward to the future with gratitude and excitement.   As much as I could use some R&R, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of excitement for what’s to come in 2025. New countries to open, new colleagues to welcome, new challenges to conquer. Life, in all its ups and downs, continues to be a beautiful journey. The holiday season is here again and just like you, I cannot wait to share in the joy of the holidays with family and friends.  This time with them is well-deserved and something that I always look forward to.   We entered 2024 as always on the unflappable wings of hope and optimism against the backdrop of a gloomy economic landscape.  We could only project that it would get tougher, and it did.  But you know what the legendary recording artist, Billy Ocean, said? “When the going gets tough, the tough get going”.  And going we did for we are made of sterner stuff!   Despite the economic doom and gloom, we made big plans for 2024, and just like any other organisation, the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce (UKGCC) faced its fair share of challenges.  But the team thrived under the visionary leadership of our Executive Council, UK Advisory Board, together with the cooperation and support of our member companies, partners, and stakeholders.     So, therefore, we end this year on a positive note and, as always, look forward to the new year with renewed optimism.  We are inspired by the tenacity of our member companies who continue to push against monumental odds to succeed in their endeavours.  With member companies like ours, we have no other option than to prove our mettle once again in 2025, demonstrating beyond all doubt, our commitment and dedication to creating opportunities for their continued growth.   The Year in Review   How would I describe our 2024 in one word?  Remarkable.  Allow me to elaborate. ✨ Grateful and Motivated for What’s Ahead! ✨ As we approach the holiday season, I’ve been reflecting on all that I’m thankful for—especially after Thanksgiving. One thing I’m incredibly grateful for is the opportunity to work at a company like ResProp Management. 2024 has been a year of growth, learning, and collaboration. Thanks to the amazing team around me, I’ve gained new skills, overcome challenges, and learned more than I ever thought possible. Whether it was a tough project or just a moment of doubt, there was always someone here to lend a hand and share their expertise. Well, here we are then - the final days of 2024. And it genuinely feels like we’ve packed a decade’s worth of work and challenges into the last twelve months. One of the biggest shifts this year for us was moving into our new headquarters – a building designed with our needs and goals in mind, a space that lets us spread our wings and add fresh ideas to the mix on a whole new level. We’ve also had the chance to connect with some incredible people all over the world this year, from those who deal with unforgiving winter conditions up north to people in warmer regions who have an entirely different set of challenges. Watching the accessories we produce find their way into so many different places, countries and regions always reminds us that we’re all part of a much bigger community. And we don’t mean just Europe because we’ve also been putting a lot of effort into strengthening our presence in North America, taking steady steps to connect with new partners and show them what we bring to the table. None of these accomplishments would mean much without the support of the people who use our products - every photo, message, feedback or quick update we get is a reminder that real work happens out there in the forests and fields, on the trails, or wherever machines and imagination meet to create new better solutions to old problems. It’s your drive and determination that keep us aiming higher and looking further, whether we’re fine-tuning our existing products or mapping out ideas for the next big launch. Looking ahead to 2025, we’re ready for whatever opportunities or challenges might come our way. We’ve grown a lot and learned a lot this year and we'll continue to do that in the next one. Our goal is to keep developing ATV and UTV accessories that help you work smarter, tackle those tough jobs, and maybe even enjoy the process a bit more than before.
