🌟 **Reflecting on a Successful ONE Tech Community Meet & Greet Multiplier Event! ** 🌟 Today, I had the privilege to engage with our ONE Tech Community multipliers in a dynamic and insightful dialogue. This event was crucial in underlining the vital role these multipliers play and the significant value they bring to our community inside the Lufthansa Group. During my keynote, I emphasized the necessity of collective problem-solving across all business units. The challenges we face, both immediate and long-term, require a unified approach. By breaking down silos and adopting a macro perspective, we can integrate the strengths and knowledge of our diverse communities, presenting ourselves as one cohesive entity. I also welcomed feedback and suggestions on how we can further drive the community forward and where help is needed. Understanding what steps are essential to reach our goals and addressing the areas where we face difficulties is key to our success. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this event. Already reminiscing about last week’s #EuroBusExpo and our first-ever CPT Operator Forum. We’ve loved hearing people’s feedback and seeing your pictures and videos from the event! We had a fantastic few days discussing the state of the industry, the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, and how we can continue to provide better journeys for all. A few of our particular highlights from the week: 🚏 We enjoyed some illuminating panel discussions about the future of the industry, with topics including the impact of AI on coach operations, accessibility, tourism expansion and fostering workforce diversity. 🚏 It was fantastic to see so many of our members on the podium at the routeone awards – a big congratulations again to all the winners! 🚏 We were also inspired to see some of the most significant new initiatives shaping the coach and bus industry presenting at the Innovation Challenge. A huge thank you again to everyone who participated in proceedings. We even grabbed some time with Local Transport Minister, Simon Lightwood MP, who summed up perfectly just how vital our industry is to economic growth. 🌟 Happy to have had the opportunity to present at the LHIND Summit once again this year! 🌟 This marks my third time presenting at this annual event, and it's been fun and interesting each time. This year, I delved into the topic: "Green IT: Measurement as a Service and New Measurement Results." 🌱💻 Discussing the intersection of sustainability and IT is becoming a passion and tradition for me, and I'm grateful for the platform to share insights and advancements in this crucial field. During my talk, I showcased a CLI tool I developed in Go, which enables automated resource measurements of containerized applications in a Kubernetes cluster. This tool is quite comprehensive—it automatically provisions the necessary infrastructure, deploys the monitoring tools like Prometheus and Kepler, sets up the system under test, runs the load tests, exports the measurement results, and finally deletes the infrastructure. This level of automation allows us to conduct measurements for modern applications more easily, generating valuable insights faster. Additionally, this year's Summit was special as we at Lufthansa Industry Solutions welcomed guests from the One Tech community and hosted external speakers for the first time, fostering broader collaboration and knowledge sharing. A huge thank you to the fantastic organizers, Clara Wilhelm and Juri Hasselmeier, for making this event possible.
