We founded Novel to bring some fresh perspective. Sure, that's a tagline for us, but it's also something I actually believe. Sometimes it feels like a dirty secret that people are afraid to admit - but the truth is that we're all constantly trying to figure things out, every day. The world is really changing around us in huge ways, in real time. And everyone - in politics, brand work, impact spaces - we are all trying to figure out how to navigate a constantly-changing media landscape. And while it's very clear that what used to work no longer does in the same ways, the new path forward isn't always so clear. We founded Novel to be a partner for those who are willing to admit this reality, and who want to help chart the new course with strategic innovation. One year in, I'm so ridiculously proud of the ways we've already done this. Thanks to the clients who helped us get started, and to my great partners and teammates who trusted me enough to come along on this ride, we are charting a new course. Sometimes it feels like I have more questions than answers. Launching and running your own business is every bit as hard as you've heard, but I have also never believed in our mission more.
