🚨 Career Opportunity for Seasoned Professionals 🚨 Are you ready for a career move that takes you forward immediately? I’m looking for experienced, driven professionals who can see the writing on the wall and are ready to make a proactive choice for their future—no more lateral moves, no steps back to move forward. 📈 What’s the offer? • Starting Salary: $86,000 with 3 months of training to set you up for success. • Schedule: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, 5 days on / 2 consecutive days off. • Paid Time Off: 10 paid days off every 4 months. 🚀 Growth Potential As soon as you hire your replacement, you’ll be promoted to District Manager, overseeing 3 stores with a salary increase to $119K/year. This promotion path continues, with no cap on your potential earnings. For example, some employees can reach $180K/year and beyond—it’s all about your drive and willingness to grow. Why Waffle House? Waffle House is more than just a restaurant—it’s a 70-year American institution known for its 24/7 service, dedication to quality comfort food, and a company culture built on servant leadership. With over 1,900 locations and plans to add 1,000 more in the next decade, Waffle House is constantly expanding and provides unlimited opportunities for growth. When you join, you’re not just getting a job—you’re joining a community that values hard work, dedication, and leadership. 👥 Who Should Apply? I’m not just looking for restaurant industry professionals (you’re invited too!)—but for professionals from ALL backgrounds: teachers, business leaders, law enforcement, or anyone ready to make a significant, proactive change. The only requirement? A servant leadership mindset and the drive to show up with a smile each day. 🌟 This opportunity is about your future and your family’s future. Don’t wait—text me today at (214) 347-1783 to get started on your new career path by November!

Earlier today, I shared the story of one of our team members leaving Modi Toys last Friday. We knew the day was coming for months so we had been prepared with his replacement, who was fully trained. In fact, this new hire seemed so promising that we began envisioning his path to promotion. But, as luck would have it, he pulled a 180 on us. Didn't show up to work last week, stopped responding to messages, and didn't return any calls. We spoke to his wife, so at least we knew he was well and alive, but she didn't offer much details about his whereabouts. Struggles like these don't get the spotlight because as small business owners, we're often busy putting out multiple fires at once (oh BTW, did I mention we're out of stock on 2 of our best selling items during Prime Day??!) And on that note, we're hiring an Operations Assistant in Edison, NJ, if you know anyone that may be interested! Must be reliable (we don't like surprises) and have great communication skills (because we don't like being ghosted either). Full job description here -

Last week I took a great brief from a Client for a new role they're recruiting for. One of the things that stood out to me was the way they described the culture of the business. It wasn't the typical descriptions of culture that you might think of - they didn't brag about Friday pizza days and their 'work hard play hard' mentality. They spoke about the culture of support they've created and the opportunity for career growth. They said they're realistic that this new hire isn't going to be with the business forever... and that's a good thing. Their goal was to bring someone in, help foster their career growth and expose them to new experiences that will long term bolster their career forward. It was a very refreshing and honest approach. As an agency Leader, it's unrealistic to expect someone to stay with the business forever. It's a great trait to be able to acknowledge this and one that I think will attract great people & foster a great team culture. If you're a junior looking to join a great agency who encourages career growth - get in touch, I know a great agency who is hiring! ✨

This post really drives home a point I've tried to make numerous times. It's from someone who, despite their extensive experience, has been struggling to find work for over a year - even being rejected for roles like cashier. This is why I keep saying: just because something worked for you, doesn't mean it will work for everyone. There are many reasons for this, and one of them is discrimination. Whether it's racism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia, or other forms of bias - these factors significantly impact a person's job search, often in ways that aren't immediately visible. And in this job market, it's even worse. So please, stop telling people to "just go get a job at the grocery store." It's not that simple. This person's story isn't unique - I've heard similar accounts from others. And consider for a moment what it does to someone who's worked in the corporate world their entire career, only to have it all taken away through no fault of their own. The emotional and psychological impact is real. Your way doesn't work for everyone. Their circumstances may not be the same as yours. They are not you. You are not them. Instead of judging or offering one-size-fits-all advice, start helping. Share job leads. Offer to review resumes. Make warm introductions. And if you absolutely can't help, at least refrain from saying harmful things. Let's foster a community of support and understanding. The job market is tough enough without adding unnecessary judgment to the mix. Wishing you the very best of luck on your upcoming interviews, DeAnna Judd! 🤞🤞🤞 You've got this! #JobHunting #Discrimination #CareerAdvice #Empathy
The struggle is real! For my crew on the #greenbannergang we can all agree that sometimes life throws us a curve ball with our careers. At 15 months post-layoff, I’m still looking for an opportunity to continue my career of HR/Employee Relations. When my unemployment ran out in April, I found myself applying and getting offered a seasonal admin role at a local landscaping company. That ends this Friday. It was supposed to end 30-days ago but I was able to work another 30 days! Thank God. But in 24 hours I receive my final paycheck! For those of you following my story, I was excited to have made it to an onsite interview with a local grocery store this past Monday for a cashier position. Well, this morning I received the rejection email. 😩 No one believes me when I say I can’t get a pizza delivery gig, a Costco warehouse job and now a grocery store position? I’m at a loss & continue to be confused by the job market at all levels. However, also in the last 3 days, I have found myself being contacted for two different HR/ER roles! 😃 So I’m going to turn my frown upside down from my 16 rejection emails I’ve received this week, and focus on the other two organizations who want to speak with me further. Fall down 10 times, get up 11. It’s hard as hell & the bruises suck, but I’m no quitter!! Wish me luck on my next two interviews this week! 🍀 #layoffs #unemployed #hiringprocess #hr #employeerelations #strength #faith #positivevibesonly #wanttowork #jobsearch #transferableskills

Today’s job market is insane! Everybody is hiring these days. Customer service, Real Estate, Food Industry, Hospitality, everywhere I go I see hiring now hiring now! What does a job get you in the long run? Are you expendable? Is there any long term gurantees or security? Does your job line up with your vision for your future? Or are we going to be like our parents and generations before us that allowed their jobs to dictate their lives and every goal, dream and visions dies when we accept the offer? Think about it as you’re applying.
