I wonder when will organisations stop getting attracted to candidates having a Big experience on their CVs and will actually consider candidates with relevant skills and expertise. This is also true for when organisations have a leadership position open and they go out and hire someone, rather than giving internal promotions

I’m sure this has been said before, but it’s ALWAYS true. I don’t need to be an expert in your domain, your industry or your specific technology and I don’t need to be the smartest in the room. I need to be able to source and synthesize information efficiently and accurately and be able to turnaround my work product. It won’t be perfect, but the cycle continues until it meets the need then I move to the next task. While it’s harder than it sounds, I still don’t need to be the smartest person in the room! In fact, I prefer to be in rooms where I’m not! #hiring #productmarketing #startup
