As a new startup owner, you’ve probably noticed how important is to create a stable and reliable team. Yet, you need to be capable of switching certain technologies, specific employees, and sometimes even entire departments faster and faster. 💪 For example, according to Capterra, in 2023, up to 98% of 300 surveyed HRs are willing to replace their current employees with AI-based software and algorithms. Still, it might be hard to do if you make a long-term agreement with your employees. So, here where is the moment for outstaffing teams to shine. 💡 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗹𝘆, outstaffing teams usually already know how to work together very well, and you won’t need to sacrifice much of your precious time to build up a working process. Instead, you can start maintaining and growing other parts of your startup while they will perfectly do their job with minor attention from the owner. 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆, you can easily dismiss the whole outstaff team at once if you prefer an AI-based algorithm. Just imagine how much you can save on paperwork, resolutions, and other necessary actions! 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱𝗹𝘆, you can learn much from a well-organized, independent outstaff team. You can slowly build up your team, working culture, and technical strategies by simply observing their work. If you’re about to launch your startup and looking for outstaffing services, you should check Qualified Consulting. The company will help you with technical support and engineering and augment any of your teams. #qualifiedconsulting #outsoursing #softwaredevelopment #outstaffing

CONQUER CHAOS, FUEL GROWTH: A STARTUP’S GUIDE TO EFFICIENCY Feeling overwhelmed in your fast-paced startup environment? ️ As an administrative consultant, I've seen my fair share of early-stage companies struggling with organization. But fear not, founders! Here's a battle-tested tip I've used with clients like All4one Services to achieve peak efficiency: DEFINING ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES In the early days, everyone wears multiple hats. But as your team grows, clear role definitions become crucial. My first area of focus when working with startups is to establish ownership for tasks, ensuring everyone knew their area of expertise and accountability. This streamlined communication, minimized redundancy, and boosted overall productivity within these organizations. Here's how you can implement the system in your startup: CRAFT A TEAM ROSTER: List each team member and their core skills. MAP RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify essential tasks for each role. Clearly outline what each team member is accountable for, eliminating overlap and ensuring everyone is focused on their strengths. DOCUMENT & COMMUNICATE: Create a shared document outlining roles and responsibilities. Establish a central system for storing essential information like contact details, skills, and past performance. This makes it easy to find what you need, fast. This simple step creates a foundation for a well-oiled machine. Watch your team work smarter, not harder! This approach not only streamlined operations but also fostered a healthier work-life balance for the team, enabling them to focus more on impactful work. If this is something you are struggling with, I have good and bad news. Bad news: if you don't do something about it, it won't get better. Good news, I might be able to help you with that. 🚨 Top 5 reasons why should your startup build its own team instead of hiring software house for building MVP? 🚨 🚀 Rapid Start: Recruiting top-notch specialists, getting them onboarded, aligned, and coordinating their work is no challenge at all. A ready team of experts will hit the ground running. 💡Expertise and Best Practices: Today, you'll gain from the experiences acquired in many previous workplaces and many ways of working, and daily long-term brainstorming will allow you to develop some initial standards of work. And thanks to the fact that some members of the team have already worked in a start-up, you will gain expert knowledge and experience. 🚦 Flexibility and Scalability: A full-time permanent team will have plenty of time for self-development and work-life balance, while a given specialist will have fewer tasks, which is natural during a project. Thanks to this, he will be able to work for 3 in another phase of the project and you will not incur additional costs. ⛳ Predictable Costs: By agreeing with the team that they will finish the project by the end of December, you can sleep peacefully, you will not exceed your budget and you will not worry about unexpected expenses. Ideal for those with a limited budget! 🤔Focus on Business: The newly built team will immediately start working effectively, sometimes requiring guidelines, allowing you to focus on what you do best - developing your business. Marketing, acquiring customers, finding financing - you have more time for it! Do not waste time on looking for the best software house, when you can start with your own team from the spot! 🎯 Let me know what is your experience!👇 #Startup #MVP #SoftwareHouse #GrowthHacking #TechTips

Leading a fast-growing, funded tech startup is exhilarating, exciting—and exhausting. 😅 After securing funding, founders often feel the weight of investor expectations, yet many hesitate to bring in outside help. But why? 🤔 Because building capabilities is often seen as requiring full-time hires. But here's another way: 🚀 Engaging fractional or interim support can provide the expertise needed to accelerate growth without overburdening your team. Here are a few tips for finding the right technology partner: 1️⃣ Prioritize partnerships over transactions. Seek firms that are genuinely invested in your success. Boutique consulting firms are often a great fit—they align culturally, collaborate closely, and often tend to be motivated to feature your success as a case study for the network affect. 2️⃣ Negotiate beyond just price. Flexibility on terms like payment schedules, project advances, or co-marketing rights can lead to better long-term partnerships. Insist on owning your project’s IP but look for efficiencies—your partner should reuse existing tools and frameworks rather than recreating the basics from scratch. 3️⃣ Prepare for challenges. Every project hits bumps in the road. Hosting regular “showcases” where both teams share progress, insights, and feedback can prevent misalignment and keep everyone on track. 4️⃣ Think long-term. A trusted consultancy relationship becomes a reservoir of expertise you can draw on as your business grows. This can bridge gaps while you hire, validate new strategies, and help you hit key milestones faster. Remember - no founder can do it all—nor should they. With the right partner, you can meet your board, investors, and team’s expectations while staying focused on scaling your business. -------------------------------------------- 👋 Hi, we’re Sightglass. I've been thinking of all the SMEs out of work right now. I know the whole creation of your own company can seem daunting. Although I still think now is a great time to build the thing. If you need help meeting people I'm happy to help you find a business partner or connect to people who can help. That said, not everyone is comfortable with the same level of risk. If that feels uncomfortable and consulting feels daunting because you are constantly trying to sell solo. The other thought is a consortium or co-op of co-ops or a collective. Names are not my superpower. The high level is as follows. Gather a collection of experts from Marketing, Copywriters, PR, Content Creators, Program, Project, and Product Managers, Sales eng, Devs, front end, back end, Ops, DevRel, and Security. I didn't name all the roles but imagine I did. These folks encompass a broad group of experts. From 0-1 startup experience to established company problems and everything in between. Who do we sell to? Welp, the companies who are the size our team can help. We sell to companies from startups who don't have enough work for an FTE but don't have the expertise in-house to build or create. To established companies who have complex projects around reducing cruft or are working through the impact of an M&A and which code wins. The people who've been there and done that. The companies can pay a subscription or per project. Further, they could pick from a list of already established consultants like a Yellow Pages of tech consultants. Or even pay to have some of the in-house tools implemented. I'm guessing the consortium would be employee-owned, like Bob's Red Mill but tech. Essentially it would be the A-Team but without the violence and more accessible. It's not right per se but I'm happy with the gist of the idea. If you made it this far, have I convinced you to start that startup? #opservations

Starting a company today is a complex, ever-evolving journey. (Remote work? COVID-19? AI? Inflation? Yikes! 😱) In last week’s Topline Newsletter, AJ Bruno explored the heightened complexity that start-up founders face in today’s market. While classic advice for start-up founders remains relevant, modern founders face unique challenges. AJ & Asad Zaman distill three key “secrets” to navigate the path to start-up success: 🔎 Obsess Over the Problem, Not the Solution The best founders aren’t just passionate about their product—they’re deeply committed to solving the core problem. By focusing on understanding the problem, you open the door to innovative solutions. It’s not just about having an answer; it’s about making sure the problem you’re solving truly matters. 🌟 Build a Team of A-Players The success of your startup hinges on the people you bring on board. Never settle for mediocrity. A-Players drive excellence, while lower standards can create misalignment and hinder progress. Prioritize top talent to ensure your team is equipped to tackle the toughest challenges. 📈 Align Incentives with Outcomes Driving your company forward requires more than just good intentions. Clear, well-designed incentive structures ensure that every team member is motivated to achieve the organization’s goals. When everyone’s efforts are aligned with the company’s vision, sustainable growth follows naturally. In today’s fast-paced environment, these principles can make the difference between just another startup and a truly transformative company. We’ve linked the full newsletter in the comments below 👇🏼

🚀 Are You a Non-Tech Founder with a Big Tech Idea? Let’s be real—it’s tough. But if you’re determined to turn your vision into reality, here’s what you need to know: 1. 🎨 Hiring Tech Talent: It’s an Art, Not a Checklist. Finding the right people can take years of trial and error. Start with trusted referrals or bring in a seasoned tech advisor to guide you. 2. ✍️ Forget Generic Job Descriptions—They Won’t Attract the Best Top talent wants to see your passion and vision. Craft job posts that inspire and show the impact they can make. 3. 🗣️ Managing Tech Teams? It’s Like Speaking Two Languages You’re the translator. Learn the basics of tech, or hire someone who speaks both business and code. 4. ⚠️ The Wrong Hire Could Lead You Astray Don’t just take their word for it—ask questions, verify timelines, and stay informed. 5. 🎓 Interns? Great, But They’re Not the Whole Solution They may lack commitment or experience. Set clear expectations and manage closely. 6. 💼 Investors Love a Strong Tech Leader Struggling with fundraising? A tech co-founder or advisor can be your golden ticket. 7. 💰 Beware of Overpriced and Overwhelming Tech Agencies Not all agencies are created equal. Do your research and choose a partner that speaks your language. 8. 🛠️ Your Tech Guy Isn’t a Swiss Army Knife If they’re good at A but not B, address those gaps early by hiring complementary talent. 9. 👋 Freelancers: Here Today, Gone Tomorrow? They might deliver, but what about long-term support? Plan for ongoing maintenance from the start. 10. ⏳ Tech Management Can Eat Up Your Time—Stay Focused on Growth Don’t let tech consume you.
