I'm posting these videos for reasons known only to me.
This RCCL Adventure OTS project really exhausted me.
12 days, with a large work scope, with rain and strong wind, almost impossible to finish on time, without future problems. But we did it.
That's why I consider this project a real success.
In addition, I would like to express my opinion for my profession.
Dedicated jobs with 100% engagement and influence on Cruise ships and NB are called Project Manager positions. Not Coating inspector, Supervisor or Superintendent.
Only college-educated professionals who have worked in production, like foreman, site menager,QC, QA, paint manufacturer, all areas of this profession can successfully perform this. Without skipping a single step.
Everything else is half-hearted.
There are such people, but few.
I would rank this profession from the least demanding to the most demanding.
Normal with a rating of 1-10.
1.QC(least demanding job, Good/Not good)
2.Supervisor
3.QC/QA
4.Paint producer inspector(someone who cares about quality, sales, customer relations)
5.Superintendent
6.Paint Project Menager
In between I would add the most difficult job, a college educated foreman (and QC)/site manager in one person.
The salary should be proportional to this.
I advise agencies to sell such people expensively, and that these people be paid in proportion to their role.
