-Purpose , The aim is to create (snag list) of all the issues that need to be addressed before the project can be considered complete.
-Activities , This includes checking for cosmetic defects, testing systems and appliances, ensuring that finishes meet the required quality, and confirming that all specifications and contractual requirements have been met.
2.De-snagging
-Definition , De-snagging is the process of rectifying the issues identified during the snagging process.
-Purpose , The goal is to fix all the problems listed on the snag list to the satisfaction of the client .
-Activities , This involves carrying out the necessary repairs, adjustments, and finishing touches to address each item on the snag list. Once completed, a re-inspection is typically performed to ensure all issues have been resolved.
In summary, snagging involves identifying defects, while de-snagging involves correcting them to ensure the project meets the required standards before final handover.
