🌟Wokeup to this joining letter of NHA for summer internship and It was a dream come true for me. Being selected in top interns Pan-India under PM-JAY Programme (where I applied in the - Scheme Policy and Coordination / Monitoring and Research / Health (Package) Policy and Quality Assurance), was more than an achievement.🌟 ⚖️ Life often presents us with incredible opportunities, and sometimes we need to make difficult choices to honor our current commitments. Joining the National Health Authority (NHA) was a dream come true, a milestone I was eager to achieve. However, the call to return to college and resume my classes required my immediate attention. It wasn’t an easy decision to make, but I firmly believe that timing is everything. This experience has taught me the value of patience and the importance of prioritizing long-term goals over short-term gains. While I may not be able to pursue the NHA opportunity right now, I am committed to enhancing my skills and knowledge to be even better prepared for future endeavors. Thankyou Ms. Latha Ganapathy (IAS), for giving me this opportunity and I am confident that with dedication and perseverance, I will reunite with National Health Authority (NHA) at a time when I can contribute even more effectively. This journey has reinforced my belief in continuous growth and seizing the right opportunities when they align with my personal and professional goals. ⚡️💡To anyone facing similar crossroads, remember that every decision is a step towards becoming the best version of yourself. Embrace the present, invest in your growth, and trust that the right opportunities will come at the right time. 💡⚡️

I am never coming back. The thought that came to my mind numerous times in the past three years. A ride full of it's own ups and downs, moments of joy and happiness has finally come to an end. Hansraj College proved to be more than what I expected it to be. 📌 From cribbing of not getting the dream college to not wanting to leave the HRC classrooms. 📌From crying over assignments, internals, end sems to learning the art of time management. 📌From hyping over societies, competitions to valuing quality over quantity. 📌From giving efforts to keep friendships afloat to accepting that not everyone is meant to stay. 📌From eyeing internships, placements to building strong professional network. 📌From comparing myself to believing that everyone do have their own journey. College taught me a lot! For the entire class of 2024, yes, we made it through! All the best for your future. I'm sure everyone has their own destiny, so keep going :)) P.S: Finally, graduated 🎓

I am a sucker for good stories, and right now, I feel like I'm living one. It all began in January 2024, when I entered the final stage of my undergraduate studies, facing the inevitable question: "What next?". I faced a dearth of options for undergraduate studies following my 12th grade; I was determined not to find myself in the same predicament for my masters. After many difficult conversations and deliberations, I finally mapped out how I want my 2024 to look. The plan was simple: study for the #CAT, take a one-month break to take #GMAT, apply to top #MiM programmes and ISB’s YLP programme, and try my best in CAT. While I had my academic journey planned, I did not want other aspects of my life to take a back seat. So, I applied for various internships and was selected as a marketing intern at JioCinema and ITC Limited. Due to time constraints and academic commitments, I chose ITC Ltd. This internship profoundly shaped my understanding of #retailmarketing and offered a glimpse into the operations of one of the country's largest FMCG brands. More on this later! While the internship was a great learning experience, my preparations took a back seat, and I needed to catch up. I returned to Hyderabad in July for my final year of undergraduate studies and dove headfirst into my GMAT in August. The score I received has no weightage in this story because it’s about the perseverance and dedication with which I studied for that one month. I took the exam on a Saturday and resumed preparing for the CAT on Monday. CAT was 4 months away, and I was nowhere near my target score, but as my dad always used to say, fortune favours he who dares, and I was not going to stop daring now. In the coming months, I wrote my applications for world-renowned universities, managed my current university academics, started working out again and burned the midnight oil for CAT. "Success ke peeche mat bhaago, excellence ka peecha karo, success jhak maarke tumhare peeche ayegi." As of today, I have an admission letter from INSEAD for their MiM programme, a top-four position in my class, three outstanding internships under my belt, two decent competitive exam scores, multiple case competition wins, and PORs, but most importantly, I have learnt the value of passion and the sweet taste of the fruits of perseverance. These past 11 months were difficult, and now I know why the journey matters more than the destination. The end? Fortunately, or unfortunately, it never truly is.

The Power of the Firsts!✨ You ever think about how powerful your first try at something can be? That initial leap, filled with nerves and excitement- it can truly change the game. The first try is more than just a beginning. It breaks the ice, and sets the tone! Let me tell you about a few of my own firsts and the magic they brought into my life. ◽️First Time Recording a Song I remember the first time I recorded a song in front of fellow learners of my singing class. Heart pounding, palms sweaty, but the thrill was unmatched! That first recording wasn’t perfect, but it gave me a confidence I never knew existed. ◽️First Time Singing on Stage On the day of the performance, when my Co-Singer called in sick, I had 2 choices- to cancel the performance; or take that plunge. Guess what? I gave it a shot. I was terrified. But as soon as I hit that first note and saw the audience's reaction, I knew I was hooked. ◽️First Training Program The first training program I ever conducted felt like jumping into the deep end of the pool. It wasn’t perfect but that experience taught me that it is the best way to grow and improve. I’ve come a long way! ◽️First Solo Travel Traveling alone for the first time was a mix of excitement and anxiety. But it also gave me a sense of independence and adventure that I carry with me to this day. ◽️First Internship at State Bank of India During my internship at SBI, I was initially scared because I had to interact with different people. Top that with being an introvert! But the warm nature of the team made me feel welcome and comfortable, teaching me the importance of a supportive work environment. ◽️Learning to Swim I’ve recently started learning to swim. Every class is a new challenge, but it’s a reminder that we should keep trying new things every day. It’s never too late to dive into something new! So, here’s to embracing our first tries and the incredible journeys they set us on. Don't let fear hold you back. Dive in, take that first step, and see where it takes you! #FirstTry #PersonalGrowth #Confidence #Fearless #Journey #SelfDevelopment
