🚀 8 Months at the Ministry of Justice UK, Justice Digital! 🚀 I'm excited to share some of the progress we've made since I joined the Civil Service: ✨ 𝑨𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔: In the past 8 months, we’ve run two successful campaigns for Senior Software Developers, extending offers to 35 candidates in the first campaign and 20 in the second. But don't just walk in and say: "Hi! You don't know me, but I'm cool, please refer me." Instead, look at their profile, engage with their content, and find common themes or interests. Then you can ask for advice about joining their company. Polite and genuine engagement goes a long way! 🙋♀️ Connect with recruiters: Connect with hiring managers on LinkedIn. It's the best way to get the first notification of job openings. If you have not, then this is the sign you waited for: · List your companies and main responsibilities. · Highlight your skills and relevant programming languages/frameworks. · Use specific titles like "Senior Java Developer" or "Full-Stack Developer (.NET + React)" in your current position field to improve your visibility in searches.
