SMBC acted as MLA (Mandated Lead Arranger) on the transaction.     Constellation is a leading pan-European owner and operator of cold storage facilities located in vital hubs along the food supply chain. Constellation provides temperature-controlled storage capacity and complementary services to a wide range of food commodity producers, traders and retailers. Cold storage facilities foster food security (part of SMBC’s Nature Finance initiative) by extending food lifespan, eliminating harmful bacteria that do not survive at cold temperatures and reducing food wastage. Food security and preservation is essential to feed the world safely and efficiently. Today we published our full-year results for 23/24.   Frank Cocx (CFO): ”In 23/24 the The Lucas Bols Company's brand portfolio, business model and teams proved their resilience. Despite adverse global circumstances our depletions value (sales by distributors) were up 3% and gross profit per case improved a further 13% thanks to our premiumisation strategy. Normalised free operating cash flow came in 36% better than in 22/23, whilst our net debt position reduced further, supported by the March 2024 equity raise.
