National Road Safety Week 2024: Let's Drive Towards Safety Together! Each year, countless lives are affected by road accidents, many of which could have been prevented with more cautious driving habits. In support of National Road Safety Week, we encourage all drivers to take care. Whether on metro, regional, city streets or countryside roads, safety should always be our top priority behind the wheel. Road safety is a collective effort. With increased traffic and darker evenings in autumn, road safety becomes more critical than ever. As a road transportation company, we prioritize the safety of everyone on the road, knowing that each journey matters. Our commitment to road safety is reflected in the extensive training provided by our Driver Academy, where drivers learn eco-friendly and safe driving techniques, such as selecting appropriate speeds, planning ahead, and adapting to road conditions. We’ve implemented speed limits for our trucks to ensure both safety and sustainability by reducing emissions and fuel consumption. Beyond our fleet, we’re also dedicated to raising public awareness about road safety. Through initiatives like "Mission: safety on the road" and educating communities on the importance of wearing reflective gear, we aim to protect the most vulnerable road users — pedestrians, cyclists, and scooter riders — especially during low visibility conditions. Road safety is a shared responsibility, and by working together, we can reduce accidents and ensure safer roads for all.

🚦At the recent Road Safety GB National Road Safety Conference 2024, we had the opportunity to deliver a workshop highlighting the often-overlooked risks faced by mobility scooter users. Alongside Prof Duncan Guest, from Nottingham Trent University, we discussed how this vulnerable group is nearly three times more likely to be killed in a road crash compared to other road users.   📊 Over the past decade, casualties involving mobility scooters have increased by 20% each year. It's clear that urgent action is needed to protect them. 🔍 The workshop was attended by road safety professionals from local authorities and safer roads partnerships, who were keen to help us in our mission to keep mobility scooter users safe on our roads #RoadSafety #MobilityScooters #VisionZero

Yesterday marked the end of Australia’s annual National Road Safety Week (5 - 12 May). Created to honour loved one’s who have lost their lives or been injured on Australia’s roads, this initiative highlights the pressing need for collective responsibility to make our roads safer. This is why we have made it our mission is to achieve zero transport fatalities.
