As the 𝐂𝐓𝐎 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐝 𝐋𝐭𝐝., I want to address an important issue affecting our industry. Recently, we've noticed that some of our former employees have been offered higher salaries by a specific company, not because of their skills, but to 𝐬𝐩𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐮𝐬. We've also seen that their social media presence is now essentially a copy of Ostad. This behavior is harmful to everyone. It creates a toxic environment and damages trust. We believe that competition should be about improving our services and innovating, not about underhanded tactics. 𝐓𝐨 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲: Please maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism. We've just posted highlights of a massive $65 million loss for Tarion in 2023, including significant increases in expenses like salaries, even after Tarion was stripped of its regulator responsibilities. In the real world, when an organization incurs losses like this, they typically downsize/tighten their belt. But Tarion⬆️: - leadership & staff - compensation - general & admin expenses... 🏗️ Nominate a candidate for the Nordic Council #Environment Prize by 30 April! This year’s theme is #sustainable #construction with a particular emphasis on transformative recyclable architecture and regenerative construction. Construction currently accounts for around 40% of global CO2 emissions. Regenerative buildings are designed to minimise negative impacts on the ecosystem and achieve a net-positive effect on the natural environment. The use of existing buildings is modified to suit new needs instead of demolishing them and that designed structures are also reusable. ✅Nominations can be made to a Nordic individual, enterprise or organisation with a #Nordic perspective, operating in the Nordic Region and/or in relation to parties outside of the Nordic Region. It is possible to nominate both buildings and infrastructure. The Nordic Council of Ministers and The Nordic Council Environmental Prize was first awarded in 1995 with the aim of raising awareness of work on the #environment in the #Nordic Region. On the other hand, #trade, #transportation, and #utilities jobs are more plentiful in our region than one year ago.
