Fundraiser's Dinner Etiquette Tip #2: Managing Your Phone When you’re at a fundraising dinner, your focus should be on building relationships—not on your phone! Here are a few tips to help you stay present and show your dining companions the respect they deserve: 📱 Put your phone on silent and keep it out of sight. It’s hard to give your full attention with a screen lighting up every few minutes. 📱 If you’re expecting an urgent call, let your companions know at the start of the meal, and excuse yourself from the table to take it. Keep the call brief so your companions aren’t left waiting for long. 📱 Avoid the temptation to take photos or videos of your food in formal settings. While a quick snapshot might seem harmless, it can be distracting to others trying to enjoy the moment. In a world full of screens, giving someone your undivided attention is the ultimate show of respect. Have you ever had a fundraising dinner ruined by a dinner companion on their phone? #DinnerEtiquette #petrusdevelopment #fundraising #development #faithbasedfundraising #fundraisingdinner #EtiquetteTips
