Welcome Susan Kinsella as our new CEO! Susan has over 25 years of experience in nonprofit work, from direct care of abused and neglected children in residential and shelter care, to case management for homeless individuals and families, then nonprofit management and administration (including an emphasis on fund development). Susan graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in Family Studies focusing on Individual Development, and a minor in Psychology. She recently obtained a graduate certificate in Content Development from Cornell University. Her interest in writing and storytelling, fiber art, and home improvement projects, as well as her family activities (especially with her amazing granddaughter!) keep her busy. She has a rescue dog, Huckleberry Finn, and a wildflower garden that she is determined to expand. Her commitment to the success of others has been a lifelong theme and she looks forward to continuing that path at Journey to Hope.
