I'm a champion juggler (not literally).
I learned this skill while navigating the messy middle. I was stretched to capacity and performed best when I kept all those plates in the air. All was well as long as they kept moving, and I didn't drop any (or so I thought).
Sometimes, I did drop them. And, sometimes, it would have been better if I had dropped some!
Heading into Q4 is a thing! We've got year-end, ensuring we are on track to execute the strategy for 2025, not to mention the holidays for those who celebrate, etc.
It's a perfect time to pause and reflect.
What can I remove from the rotation? What can wait? What is no longer needed?
These questions are not just about tasks; they're about your vision for the future.
When you take a look at those plates, you may notice that some of those dishes have expired, and others simply no longer taste good.
And remember, your well-being is not just another plate. It's the table where all these plates rest. Taking care of yourself is not negotiable; it's a priority.

"Christmas in July" is something we hear generally associated with discount sales. Sadly, it tends to often mean "Buy This Old Stuff So We Can Make Room For New Stuff." For golf courses and clubs, the middle of summer is a time for pivot and preparation. A common remark I hear is how lucky I am to travel around the country and see the sights as part of my job. 😅 While my view often includes the sky, show venues, and accommodations, I AM so fortunate to meet and be inspired by so many incredible people.
👥 The team I travel and work with: They put their 💯 into every part of the show, from unloading trucks and setting up stands to sharing their passion for our products.
👥 The amazing Bidfooders at every branch: so uniquely different, yet united by their passion for what they do.
👥 Our customers: Business owners, staff, and chefs across various regions, eager to explore new innovations and level up their craft.
👥 Our suppliers and partners: Working alongside us at the shows, supporting each other, and making even the tough days better.
I’ve learned so much from sourcing stands and uniforms, organizing rosters, unloading and wrapping pallets, to even making coffee ☕️ Long days, catching up on emails at night, and sore muscles are all part of the journey. 👉BUT seeing our brands grow, encouraging people to try something new, and witnessing those “wow” moments make it all worth it. Adding value through conversations and solutions has been an incredibly rewarding experience.
Now it’s time to rest and recharge, before a new season of growing and learning ahead! And next year, seeing more sights is definitely on my to-do list 😂✈️

This year, LIDL has pulled a Mariah, and kicked off its own truck tour earlier, to bring some magic to their UK customer base with a very direct and simple message: this year, Holidays are coming in under budget.
With the country fighting the worst cost of living crisis, and a 2.3% grocery inflation this month, Kantar has just issued research that shows consumers are starting their Christmas shopping early to avoid further price hikes. It noted that 648,000 shoppers have already bought a Christmas cake, while 14.4% of households purchased mince pies in October.
The same research shows prices are rising fastest in products like chilled soft drinks and chocolate confectionery.
The activation from the market chain can seem like a fun jab at Coke at first, but with the right context, it shows a superb knowledge of its customer base and what they are going through.
