Great work Lindsey Imperatore and Michael Beckerman. Great show. My takeaways - CRE is still very much in a world of pain and nobody is doing anything meaningful because the market is so challenging. Still lots of companies prepared to talk the talk but the results are not there. Even the regulations like LL97 are not moving the needle. AI is going to be good for some parts of the industry where data is either publicly available (planning approvals) or reasonably standardized already (leasing). For the area of the industry we are involved in, its still hype and will be at least 3-5 years before we see AI applied with any serious outcomes because even though there is a lot of data, there is still a lot of poor quality data. I didn't see anyone talking about that. Congrats to CRE-Tech for getting real life people to talk about real life projects rather than the pay to play lip-service which never advances the industry. I still think events could do with some major disruption. I love the opportunity to catch up with people I have known for a long time and talk about the real stuff. SPEEDRUN 003 officially wrapped up with Demo Day earlier this week! SPEEDRUN was—and continues to be—an amazing program for 2weeks Corp. I knew it was going to give us a boost, but I was unprepared for quite how far we would come in such a short time. In the 4 months since starting we’ve hired our core/support teams, built up critical engine tech, and shipped 4 games! Our momentum is phenomenal and SPEEDRUN has been a huge part of getting us rolling. Accelerator indeed. We’re making games differently at 2weeks. We connect with our audience—fast, using tried-and-true prototyping techniques—and ensure the games where we are investing our time and talent are the ones that they are excited to play.
