I’ve almost been in my new role for a year. When you start in commercial real estate, yeah you’re excited and hopeful. But you’re also scared. For me it was scared of not always knowing the answer to the next question. That phantom next question about a lease type, an electrical term, or an on the spot quote for drywall (???). Generally in sales you take your lumps and move on. You harden. And you learn. I didn’t fully anticipate the new types of learning that would occur when I changed roles, and that’s ok.
