I am proud California has made the 30 x 30 commitment and it actively targeting 2030 achievement. My main criticism of the program thus far is not enough regeneration focus, mostly preservation focused. My 2nd concern is the active requirement to support visitors. Over time,with inadequate volunteers or maintenance funding, the parks and preserves themselves degrade.
