As we move into fall event season remember the most successful fundraising efforts aren’t just about asking for donations—they’re about building connections. At Ember 2 Action, we’ve seen firsthand how sharing personal stories and creating authentic experiences can inspire people to give generously. When planning your next event, remember that people want to feel connected to the cause. Take the time to craft messages that resonate, engage your supporters with stories that move them, and watch as your community rallies behind your mission. After all, it’s the connections we build that turn ideas into action. #FundraisingEvents #AuthenticConnections #SocialImpact #Ember2Action

With a small but mighty team, fundraisers at Old Dominion University wanted to more efficiently manage their large donor portfolios, while also target and engage prospective donors. But without the right technology, it was nearly impossible to identify and prioritize the most valuable outreaches. 🤝 By partnering with Gravyty, ODU fundraisers automated key aspects of the outreach process, allowing the team to focus their energy more fully on those most ready to give. This strategy shift led to measurable results: 🚀 83% fundraiser interaction rate with Gravyty prompts 🚀 25% total gifts raised from Gravyty-powered outreach 🚀 Nearly 9,000 emails written by Gravyty (an increase of over 1,000 outreaches per fundraiser) See how they did it: https://hubs.li/Q02WNmhN0

We are excited to announce the Race to End CTE is back and bigger than ever! Over the next two months, we need your help to raise $500,000 for critical research and prevention programs moving us closer to a world without CTE. By joining the Race, you’re raising awareness of CTE, honoring the nearly 1,000 athletes and veterans who have died with CTE, and giving hope to the millions at risk for developing CTE. Your Race to End CTE can be a virtual or in-person event like a run or walk, or you can simply jump in the competition through fundraising. You have until May 20 to make it happen! The Race to End CTE is not just about fundraising, though — it's about engaging and serving your community. More than 30 college alumni teams have already signed up to honor those they have lost, and they are committed to “No Teammate Left Behind” by promoting the free CLF HelpLine. We encourage all participants to share the HelpLine in their communications to ensure CLF is connected to patients and families battling suspected CTE when they need us most. If you’d like to rally support by starting your own team, or need help launching your page, contact Morgan Hicks at mhicks@concussionfoundation.org. To help maximize your efforts, we have created the 2024 Fundraising Toolkit. Download it to receive tips on recruitment and promotion, including example emails and social media posts. https://lnkd.in/eFuSnBaF Ready to End CTE? Sign up below! https://lnkd.in/enzjCnu2

In the heart of North Baton Rouge lies a basketball court that holds the memories of generations—a place where kids once played, dreams were born, and neighbors gathered in unity. Over time, this beloved space has fallen into disrepair, mirroring the neglect our community has faced. The cracked pavement, faded lines, and broken benches now serve as a painful reminder of what was, rather than what could be. But we’re here to change that. The 72nd Courtside Glow-Up Initiative is more than just a beautification project; it’s a movement to restore hope, rebuild trust, and reimagine a space where families and youth can thrive together. This initiative will transform the court into a vibrant hub for peace, connection, and inspiration. It’s a step toward healing, a symbol of resilience, and a commitment to creating a safe, positive environment for all. Our plan is ambitious but achievable with your support. Here’s what we’re aiming to do: 1. Resurface the court to ensure safety and playability for all. 2. Add colorful murals painted by local artists to celebrate our community’s unique culture and spirit. 3. Install new seating, lighting, and greenery to make the space inviting and welcoming for families. 4. Host a launch event with activities that bring everyone together in celebration of unity and non-violence. We need your help to raise $10,000 to bring this vision to life. Your donation will directly fund materials, labor, and event expenses, ensuring every dollar goes toward building a brighter future. Imagine the smiles of kids playing on a safe court, the laughter of families bonding over community events, and the sense of belonging that comes from knowing this space was made possible by YOU. Let’s show North Baton Rouge what’s possible when we come together. Let’s light up the courts, light up lives, and light up hope. Your generosity today will echo through generations to come. Together, we can make the 72nd Courtside Glow-Up a reality. Donate Now to help us restore this vital community space. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. https://gofund.me/9ce692fb #72ndCourtsideGlowUp #NorthBRStrong #CommunityUnity #GlowUpForChange #BasketballForBetter #Transform72nd #HopeInAction #ReimagineNorthBR #CourtOfDreams #PlayItForward #HealingThroughCommunity #TogetherWeThrive #BuildingBrighterFutures #PeaceAndUnity #ArtForTheCommunity #RestoreRebuildReconnect #NorthBRResilience #InvestInHope #DonateForChange

If you're looking for a good cause to support for Amplify Austin today, please consider donating to the United Way of Greater Austin! One of the pivotal goals of their work is their focus on high-quality early care and education. The first five years of every person’s life are foundational. Studies show that a child’s experiences during those early years literally build the architecture of their brain. Every $1 invested in early childhood education results in a $7 return-on-investment that benefits: - Local families, whose focus and trust lies in their children receiving high-quality care and support while they are working, - Our local economy, because it thrives with the talents of parents in the workforce, and - Our community, because children are tomorrow’s workforce and leaders. Supporting early childhood education strengthens our region into one where everyone can thrive. Donate now and make that vision a reality. https://lnkd.in/gZGmXfnv

One of things that I love doing is supporting small nonprofits. I find the work interesting and impactful, which is one of the reasons behind creating The Center for Community Collaboration. However, one of the most challenging things I have found is talking the team/board/etc away from hosting a big event. One organization typically doesn't have the staff, time, and budget to host a fundraiser that will generate revenue. (This is often true of most organizations, not just the small ones!) Enter my solution - collaborative fundraisers! Let's bring together multiple organizations to work together to host a fun event, raise money together, and create collective support for our causes. Are you in #NewHaven at the end of September? Considering coming to the Great Nonprofit Game Show, a collaborative fundraiser benefiting 6 local organizations. Can't make it? Consider a donation to a particular org, or even a sponsorship. https://lnkd.in/ezXPejrP #communitycentricfundraising #collaborativefundraising #philanthrophy4good
We're almost six weeks out from The Great Nonprofit Game Show! Have you gotten your tickets yet? Join the Center for Community Collaboration in celebrating six local nonprofits as they compete in a series of fun and friendly challenges - hosted by The Game Show Guys - and raise funds for each of their organizations. As part of the audience, you'll be able to cheer on your favorite orgs, play games, enter a raffle full of awesome prizes, and connect with members of our community. When we come together to support one another, we all win! https://lnkd.in/eunf2B_N
