We all #PRprofessionals, have come across the promise of “guaranteed” coverage in organic PR. But, considering a guaranteed coverage in organic PR is like expecting to find a unicorn at the end of a rainbow – it's a charming idea, but unfortunately, not grounded in reality. Organic PR relies on building relationships, crafting compelling stories, and providing value to journalists and influencers. While these efforts increase the likelihood of coverage, there are no guarantees in the ever-changing media landscape. There’s a reason people call it “earned media” and not, “paid media”. Know the difference. It's very important to approach organic PR with realistic expectations and focus on the journey of building trust and credibility, rather than chasing elusive guarantees.
