🔹 The Rise and Fall of the Cubicle 🔹 Did you know the inventor of the cubicle came to despise his own creation? Robert Propst envisioned the cubicle as a revolutionary way to enhance productivity and creativity in the workplace, prioritizing employee well-being and adaptability. Unfortunately, the cubicle's potential was undermined by cost-cutting measures and a focus on maximizing office space. Instead of fostering innovation, it became a symbol of monotony and isolation—a far cry from Propst’s original vision. This story offers a powerful lesson in design and intent: no matter how innovative an idea is, its success depends on thoughtful implementation and respect for its purpose. As professionals in architecture, interior design, and workplace solutions, we have a responsibility to consider not just what we create, but how it impacts those who use it. 💡 How can we ensure our designs align with user-centric goals rather than economic constraints? Let’s reimagine the workplace as a space for connection, innovation, and well-being, staying true to the principles that inspired its creation. #DesignMatters #WorkplaceInnovation #HumanCenteredDesign #LessonsFromHistory Feel free to share your thoughts below! 👇

What does urban design and placemaking have to do with your work? EVERYTHING. The way a city is designed ➡️ affects how you get to work. The location's architecture and landscaping ➡️ affect how you feel walking in. The office design (be it more functional or people-centered) ➡️ affect your energy. 💫 I mean, think about it: Our environment affects our energy! 💫 Thus, Urban design and placemaking affect our work lives. Urban design affects the design, organization and infrastructure of urban spaces, while placemaking brings a focus on community and catering to peoples' needs. It's about quality of your worklife through intentional workspace design. (This is true whether you work from an office or from home) I'm heading to #placemakingweek in a week to learn more and how to incorporate elements my work as a coach and strategist. Excited! If parts of this resonate, grab my workspace audit to identify the energizers and address the drainers so you can find better focus & flow. In the past, workplaces often followed a one-size-fits-all design. However, as work environments have evolved, the need to reimagine spaces as neuroinclusive has become evident. Some employees thrive in dynamic, social settings, while others require privacy and minimal sensory input to focus. Thoughtful design, incorporating architectural products like demountable walls, versatile seating, and biophilic elements, is key to creating flexible, neuroinclusive workspaces that meet these diverse needs. Investing in such design is a smart, long-term strategy for any forward-thinking organization. Discover how architectural products like demountable walls and biophilic elements create a neuroinclusive workplace on our blog: https://hubs.ly/Q02L27mP0 #OfficeRevolution #Neuroinclusivity #Neurodiversity #ArchitecturalProducts #NeurodiverseWorkspace #BiophilicElements

How Space Design Impacts Company Culture and Values I've seen firsthand how space design goes beyond aesthetics—it profoundly influences shaping company culture and reinforcing core values. An office isn't just a place to work. It's a place where our vision, collaboration, and identity come alive. 🔹 Fosters Collaboration: An open layout encourages teamwork and spontaneous interactions, bringing together ideas from different departments. Spaces designed for collaboration naturally break down silos. 🔹 Reflects Values: Every design choice—from sustainable materials to open-door policies represented by transparent walls—communicates what matters most to us as a company. 🔹 Boosts Well-Being: Thoughtful design that includes natural light, greenery, and relaxation zones contributes to employee well-being. A space that nurtures people sends a strong message: we care. 🔹 Encourages Ownership: Personalized areas and adaptable spaces help employees feel connected to their environment, promoting a culture of ownership and pride. At Greystone Infra, design is a powerful tool that aligns people with purpose. When you walk into a space embodying shared values, the result is more than just a beautiful office—a thriving, cohesive culture. #OfficeDesign #CompanyCulture #GreystoneInfra #Leadership #WorkplaceWellbeing

In designing and planning workspaces, it’s not just about form & function. Sometimes, it's about finding that extra touch — The element of fun that brings a space to life. 🎉 Whether it’s an unexpected color, a playful corner, or art that sparks a smile, We believe these elements transform environments and energize teams. Because the right details don’t just change a space; they shift the entire energy. 💙 Collaboration with Hube Studio 📷 Michael Shvadron | 📍 Jerusalem #WorkplaceDesign #OfficeInspo #DesignAndCulture #FunAtWork #InteriorDesign
